Hasleo Backup Suite Home is a $29.95 one-time license for a Windows backup, restore and disk cloning program on one home PC: it images Windows, disks, partitions and files, clones your system drive to a new SSD, and restores a backup onto different hardware, none of which the free edition fully covers.
Hasleo's free edition is already one of the better-regarded free imaging tools. The catch shows up on the day you buy a bigger SSD: Free won't clone the system disk. Home is the edition that does, and it adds the restore and image tools that matter when a PC actually dies.

Overview
Hasleo Backup Suite keeps things simple: five big buttons down the left (Home, Backup, Restore, Clone and Tools) and your backup tasks in the middle, each showing when it last ran and when it runs next. Every edition shares this interface. Buying Home doesn't change how the program looks. It switches on the advanced backup, clone and restore features that the free edition greys out.

Features
Back up Windows, disks, partitions or just your files
Hasleo Backup Suite Home's System Backup automatically selects every partition Windows needs to boot (system, boot and recovery), so a crashed PC can be restored in one go. Disk/Partition Backup images any drive, and File Backup saves chosen files and folders. Home adds deduplication for file backups and custom backup filters to leave out files you don't need. Backups can be full, incremental or differential, and go to any local, USB or network location.
System Backup: Hasleo has ticked all four partitions on Disk 0 that Windows needs, with the task name, destination folder, backup options and schedule below.
Schedules, retention and image tools
Hasleo Backup Suite Home runs backups one-time, daily, weekly, monthly or on events such as system start-up, a user logging on or a particular USB drive being plugged in. A retention policy merges older versions automatically, and backup images can be compressed, encrypted with AES 128 or 256, split, merged, checked for integrity and mounted as a drive to pull out single files. Email notifications tell you when a job succeeds or fails, and Home supports Gmail and Microsoft accounts through OAuth sign-in.
Move Windows to a new SSD
Hasleo Backup Suite Home clones the Windows system disk, a whole disk or a single partition to another drive without reinstalling Windows or your programs. This is the headline difference from the free edition, which can't clone the system disk. Delta Clone copies only the blocks that changed on the destination, which makes repeat clones much faster, and cloning can convert between MBR and GPT and keep other partitions already on the target disk.
System Clone: the partitions needed for Windows system migration are selected automatically on Disk 0, with the other disks listed below as possible targets.
Restore to new hardware, keep BitLocker
Hasleo Backup Suite Home's Universal Restore puts a Windows backup onto a computer with different hardware so it still boots, and it can restore BitLocker-encrypted partitions with their encryption intact. Delta Restore writes back only what changed. You can also restore or clone Windows to a USB drive and carry a working copy of your system with you.
Restore: a full System Backup is selected, with Change version and System, Partition and File modes for restoring the whole system, single partitions or individual files.
Emergency disk and extra tools
Hasleo Backup Suite Home creates a bootable WinPE emergency disk (with UEFI CA 2023 certificate support and driver injection) so you can restore a PC that won't start, and the Tools section adds drive wiping, MBR repair, task import and export, and logs.
Benefits
The main benefit is a low, one-time price. Macrium Reflect's move to subscriptions is the reason several Trustpilot reviewers give for switching to Hasleo, and Home costs $29.95 once. TechRadar's speed tests put Hasleo near the top of nearly twenty backup apps, so you're not trading speed for price. And because Windows on ARM is supported natively, it also covers the newer Snapdragon laptops.

Who It's For, and Who Should Skip It
Hasleo Backup Suite Home is for home users who want full system imaging and SSD migration on one Windows PC without a subscription, including people coming from Macrium Reflect's free edition.
Skip it if the PC is used for work: the Home license forbids commercial use, so you'd need Professional ($44.95), which also adds command-line backups. If you only back up files and never clone a system disk, the Free edition may be enough. Windows Server needs the Server edition, and if you want cloud storage or phone backups, look at a cloud backup service instead. There's no Mac or Linux version.
Usage Guide
- Install and launch. Download the trial (about 40 MB) or the ARM64 version, install it and open Hasleo Backup Suite.
- Activate. Enter your license key in the trial or free version to turn it into Home. There's no need to reinstall.
- Create a backup. Click Backup, choose System Backup, Disk/Partition Backup or File Backup, pick a destination and click Proceed.
- Set options. Under Backup options choose compression, encryption and splitting, and under Backup schedules set when it runs and how many versions to keep.
- Make an emergency disk. In Tools, create a WinPE emergency USB so you can restore if Windows won't boot.
- Clone or restore. Use Clone to move Windows to a new drive, or Restore to bring back a whole image, single partitions or individual files.
Before you buy
- Refunds are limited. Hasleo's 30-day guarantee covers technical problems its support can't fix, not a change of mind or a feature you didn't check, so test the trial on your own hardware first, including booting the emergency disk.
- This license is "V5" without lifetime upgrades. If you want future major versions included, Home with free lifetime upgrades costs $44.95.
- Home use only. A work or business PC needs Professional or higher.
- Prices exclude VAT on Hasleo's own store.
Where it falls short
- Limited support. Help is by email and a forum only. TechRadar listed "Limited support" among its reasons to avoid it, though several Trustpilot reviewers say Hasleo answers quickly.
- Few high-end options. There's no cloud storage target, no app-specific or phone backups, and no command line in Home.
- Frequent fixes. The change log shows a bug-fix release every few weeks from July to October 2026, including file backup crashes and a WinPE restore problem fixed in 5.9.2.4. Keep it updated.
- Some reliability complaints. A few Trustpilot reviewers report lost backups, an external USB drive that wouldn't work and no warning when the target lacks space.
