Leawo Disney+ Downloader: Save Disney+ Movies and Series to Your PC
Leawo Disney+ Downloader, sold as CleverGet Disney Plus Downloader, is a Windows tool that downloads the movies, series and Originals you can play in your own Disney+ account to MP4 or MKV files at up to 720p, for watching offline. It needs 64-bit Windows 7 to 11, costs $59.95 for one year or $99.95 for lifetime, and the free trial downloads 3 videos.
Disney+ titles only play while you're online, and they come and go from the catalog. If you want a Pixar film on a laptop for a long flight, or a series saved before it disappears, you need it as a file. Leawo Disney+ Downloader makes that file, playable in VLC, Windows Media Player or on a TV from a USB stick.

What we checked: the CleverGet installer (version 27.0.0.0, 485.7 MB) from Leawo's download link on October 22, 2026, and the one-year license at $59.95 on the order page on October 23, 2026, with the lifetime option at $40 more and a renewal price of $35.97 after the first year. Leawo's product status page listed Disney+ as "Working" at 720p on October 23, 2026. We didn't download a Disney+ video ourselves, since that needs a Disney+ subscription.
Before you buy
- 720p is the ceiling. Leawo's product page, user guide and status page all give 720p as the maximum for Disney+. If you want 1080p or 4K copies, this module won't give you them.
- You need your own Disney+ subscription. Leawo Disney+ Downloader only saves what your account can play after you log in.
- Windows and Mac are licensed separately. This is the Windows license. A Mac needs its own purchase.
- The one-year plan renews. The order page sets the one-year license to renew after 12 months, at $35.97 when we checked. Lifetime is a one-time payment.
- Personal use only. Leawo's fair use policy allows downloads of videos you legally own, for your own needs. Sharing or redistributing downloads is forbidden.

Overview
Leawo Disney+ Downloader runs inside CleverGet, Leawo's all-in-one video downloader. CleverGet has its own browser: you open disneyplus.com in it, sign in, and play the title you want. While it plays, you click the blue download button, and CleverGet lists the available streams with their resolution and frame rate, plus menus for format, audio language and subtitles.
Disney+ is one of several dozen CleverGet modules, next to Netflix, Hulu, Max and Amazon. You install one program, activate the modules you pay for, and each module comes with 3 free downloads.
Features
Disney+ movies, series and Originals at up to 720p
Leawo Disney+ Downloader saves any on-demand title in your Disney+ account, including Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars and Disney+ Originals, at up to 720p in MP4 or MKV. Leawo's status page lists H.264 and H.265 video, and Dolby Digital Plus (EAC3), HE-AAC and AAC audio.
The Download window for an Ice Age: Scrat Tales episode: three 1280 x 720 and two 640 x 360 streams, then Output MP4, Audio "HEAAC zh-hans", a forced subtitle track and "Remux into file" above the Download button.
Episodes, a season or every season at once
Leawo Disney+ Downloader reads the series you're playing and lets you select several episodes, a whole season or all seasons for one download queue.
Audio description, languages and subtitles
Leawo Disney+ Downloader keeps the original or selected audio tracks, including audio description, and multi-language subtitles. Subtitles can be packed into the video or saved as separate SRT or SUP files, handy for a family that watches the same film in two languages.
Faster, safer long downloads
Leawo Disney+ Downloader uses GPU hardware acceleration where your graphics card supports it, restarts interrupted downloads from the downloading panel without parsing again, keeps the title's metadata, and can switch the PC off when the queue is done.
The episode playing in CleverGet's browser while its 1280 x 720 download starts at 1% under the Downloading tab of the Library sidebar.
Benefits
- Disney+ offline on a Windows laptop. The files play with no connection at all.
- Titles that outlast the catalog. A downloaded film stays on your drive until you delete it.
- Plays on anything that reads MP4 or MKV. Copy it to a tablet, an external drive or a USB stick for the TV.
- Ad-free if the source is. Leawo says downloads don't carry ads when the original title on Disney+ is ad-free.
Real-World Uses
- Family trips: save a few animated films on the laptop before a long drive or flight with kids.
- Cabins and campsites: download a Marvel series at home and watch it where there's no broadband.
- Bilingual households: keep both language tracks and subtitles in one MKV file.
- Before a title leaves: save the series you haven't finished before it rotates off Disney+.
Who It's For, and Who Should Skip It
Leawo Disney+ Downloader is for Disney+ subscribers who watch on a Windows PC or laptop and care more about having permanent offline copies than about top picture quality. 720p looks fine on a laptop screen or a tablet.
Skip it if you want 1080p or 4K copies for a big TV, since 720p is the limit. Skip it too if you watch on a Mac, which needs the Mac license. And without a Disney+ subscription it can't download anything.
Usage Guide
- Install: download the CleverGet installer (about 486 MB) and run it. The Disney+ module is built in.
- Choose where videos go: click the three-dot icon, open Settings, and under General set the "Save Video To" folder and the number of downloads that can run at once.
- Log in to Disney+: open disneyplus.com inside CleverGet and sign in.
- Play the title: search for it or paste its URL, and start playing. CleverGet only parses a video whose playback page is open.
- Parse and download: click the blue download icon at the bottom right, choose the stream, MP4 or MKV, audio and subtitle, and click Download. Finished videos appear in the Library, where you can play them or open their folder.
Where it falls short
- Softer than streaming on a big TV. This module saves 720p at most, so the files look softer than an HD stream on a large screen.
- One download at a time. Leawo's guide notes the Disney+ module downloads one video at a time, so a selected season runs episode by episode.
- A big install for one service. The installer is 486 MB and Leawo asks for 5 GB of free space, because CleverGet carries all its modules.
- Breaks when Disney+ changes. CleverGet customers on Trustpilot report that a streaming site's update can stop a module until Leawo releases a fix.
What Users Say
Testimonials on Leawo's Disney+ Downloader page
Leawo's product page carries three testimonials about the Disney+ module. They're the vendor's own selection, so read them as such:
"CleverGet does work! It downloads Disney Plus movies quickly. Finally! I can see Avatar easily." Eason Egozi
"Over the last month I've tried back and forth to make whatever work that would allow me to download movies from Disney plus. [...] But thank god, I finally find CleverGet Disney Plus Downloader. This is the only one that work!" Robert
A third testimonial, from "Ososhii195", says it downloads "Disney movies up to 4K". That contradicts the 720p limit stated everywhere else on Leawo's own pages, so don't buy it expecting 4K.
Trustpilot reviews of CleverGet
We found no independent reviews of the Disney+ module itself. CleverGet as a whole has a TrustScore of 4.7 from 66 reviews on Trustpilot (79% five-star, 6% one-star). The ones that describe real use:
"I have had this product for years. It is a great product! What makes it even better is the tech support team. They are extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and timely." Pops, 5 stars
"I've been using the app for a few months now, and it works very well for my needs. I did encounter a problem, but the technical team was very responsive and resolved it." Florian, 5 stars
"I was using a few other tools at the time and found Cleverget to be quite reliable and successful in getting the videos I wanted." Satori Agape-Economo, 5 stars
The critical side
Satori Agape-Economo also warns that "sometimes updates of the software or the update from the streaming platform can wreak havoc when trying to get to the videos you want to get." Alberto gave 4 stars after "The Crunchyroll module stopped downloading subtitles after the last update," fixed two days later, and noted subtitles "only download in .SRT format and not .ASS."
Mike reported an HBO problem where the "downloaded video was systematically quite shorter than the original," fixed by a patch within 24 hours.
The pattern
Reviewers praise CleverGet's ease of use and a support team that replies within a day and ships fixes. The recurring complaint is a module that stops working for a while after a streaming site changes. For Disney+ specifically, the 720p ceiling is the thing to accept before you pay.
Comparisons
Disney+ module vs other CleverGet modules
Leawo Disney+ Downloader costs the same $59.95 a year as CleverGet's Hulu and Max modules, but it's capped lower: Leawo's status page lists Hulu at up to 1080p and Disney+ at 720p. If you subscribe to several services, CleverGet discounts module bundles on its purchase page.
Windows version vs Mac version
The Windows and Mac versions cost the same and download the same Disney+ streams. Windows needs a 64-bit system, while the Mac version needs macOS 11 or later. Licenses don't transfer between the two.

System Requirements
- Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8 or 7, 64-bit
- 1 GHz or faster Intel or AMD processor
- 512 MB RAM (1024 MB or more recommended)
- 5 GB or more of free disk space
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 or better graphics
- Internet connection and a Disney+ subscription
Conclusion
Leawo Disney+ Downloader is worth it if you watch Disney+ on a Windows laptop and want films and series you can keep and play offline, with the subtitles and audio tracks you choose. The reason not to buy is quality: at 720p, it's a travel and tablet tool, not a way to archive Disney+ in HD for a big TV. Try the 3 free downloads on the titles you care about, and if 720p is enough for you, the $99.95 lifetime license is the better deal over two years or more.
