video is for absolute beginners if
you're somebody who never edited any
video or you edited some of the videos
and you felt complicated then this video
is for you please make sure to watch
till the end so that you understand all
the editing features and how you can
edit videos in the most easy way now
coming to today's tutorial uh these are
all the 10 things that we are going to
learn certainly while we go through the
entire tutorial you'll be able to
understand all these things so welcome
to cre menu Channel and let's get
started when it comes to video editing
the first most important step is
choosing the right editing software as a
beginner you need to choose the editing
software which has a very simple
interface which is not complicated right
now if you're somebody who's at an
advanced level certainly you can go for
more advanced tools as well in today's
video we going to learn how to edit the
video with the help of a tool called as
Maui so this is mai video Suite again
this is what I generally recommend for
absolute beginners if you're somebody
who who slightly Advanced then in that
case you can go for filora which is
brilliant as well so if You observe this
the entire interface looks very very
simple it's not complicated very simple
so let me just quickly explain a couple
of things here and then uh I'll start
doing the Practical demo of editing as
well okay so this is the first uh
section that you see where you can
import the files here okay so you also
have some uh sample videos also that are
available within the editing software
okay you have sample videos here you
have some sample backgrounds you can
also create the intro for your channel
as well you have those things it has
some inbuilt audio music as well but I
would recommend don't use them I'll tell
why you should not be using it again
they have lot of uh titles the different
text formats available so there are uh
animated ones there are uh simple basic
ones again you have a lot of transitions
here so there are lot of features so
let's get started the first most
important thing for you to start editing
the video is getting the files and
placing it in this the video track okay
so in this section so you got to drag
and drop the files here okay so let me
tell you how to do it in the most easy
and uh effective way okay all you need
to do
is just go to the folder where you have
your files you can just drag and drop so
say for example I'm going to take this
two files I'm just going to drag and
drop okay now the moment you do this
when you drag and drop the
files you end up seeing this Gap okay
you are seeing this Gap here right from
here uh till here there is a gap now to
get get rid of this Gap the simple thing
that you need to do is just click on
this okay so let me just quickly show
you uh how the Gap is going to be
removed so this is called as removing
gaps so just click on this
and the gaps are going to be removed so
now you have uh I have two files here
again if you want to rearrange them I
can just drag it like this and put it
here as well that's how simple it is to
drag and
drop now when we initially start
recording a video there are going to be
a couple of seconds where we don't want
okay now in this case if you see till
this moment I'm not speaking so that
means I don't want that uh beginning
part right so what you could do is you
can trim that section by just placing
the Mouse over there you'll see a
double-sided Arrow
just drag it like this now that portion
is trim okay now you could see that okay
it is going to start exactly when I'm
speaking right so that's how it is now
say for example while recording a video
there was some Gap in between the video
as well okay maybe we took a pause or
something like that in that case you can
come to this point right click and then
just click on
split now you have the the same thing
you can just uh drag till this
point
or you can again keep your mouse
here split and delete this section okay
so now you rem the Gap as well so the
same thing now say for example you have
multiple clips so you can follow the
same thing okay and again I want to trim
the ending of this I can trim the ending
as well if you want to mute your audio
something just double click on this you
see this volume option here you can
check this to uncheck this to mute the
audio or if you want to reduce the audio
level you can do like this as well okay
or say for example your audio was too
low you can increase the audio as well
okay so that's how you can control the
audio as
well now once you have uh multiple clips
okay so say for example in between the
video it is not looking great when
you're moving from One Clip to other
clip that's when you can bring in the
transitions as well okay now when you go
to the transitions there are lot of
transactions that are available you see
there are lot of transactions available
now let's say for example I'm going to
take
um one of the most simple one I'm going
to take this page turn and I'm just
going to place it in between the video
okay now when I play this just see how
the transition
happens right so that's how the
transition is going to work again you
want to trim the
video Let's play
this right so that's a transition and
again uh you have different different
options so say for example if you want
to get the Mosaic you can get the Mosaic
okay so it's always better to keep the
uh very simple transition don't go for
something complicated identify the most
simple
one okay maybe be something like
this
okay now when you like a particular
transition you can just give a heart to
that okay so you can just click on this
heart symbol and once you do that it is
going to come in your favorites now next
time you don't have to go through all
the transitions to find the one that
you're looking you just go to favorites
and you'll be able to find it and you
can drag and drop as well so that's how
simple it is now if you want to remove
the transition that you applied
just bring your mouse over here click on
that right click and remove transition
that's how you can remove the transition
as well if you want to uh re back just
click on contrl Zed once you do that the
transition is going to come back as well
okay so this is about adding a
transition uh one quick thing to mention
now say for example you recorded a video
but however you wanted to crop it okay
now in this case uh let me give a quick
example here if you see maybe I don't
want this section to be shown okay I
don't want this section to be shown okay
I don't want this section to be
shown I don't want this in that case
what I could do it's very simple all I'm
going to do is Select that particular
video click on
crop and you just adjust what you want
something like this right now once you
do and uh when you click on apply now
once you do that now when I play right
now now if you see that section has been
removed as well so that's how simple it
is to crop a particular video as well
now let's move on to the next most
important thing that's adding a text
when we come to adding a text there are
lot of uh text options that are
available you have basic artistic
opening and you also have the speech
bubbles based on your requ you can add
any of them let's go to the basic one
first now at a basic I'm going to take a
very simple one uh say for example I'm
going to take
typewriter okay I'm going to place it
here okay now this is how it is looking
okay now say for example I'm going to
just try it as
um
video editing okay but if you see it is
not giving a good look okay so what
we'll do I'll just quickly change the
font uh
style let me select as acrobat black
okay uh I'll just adjust this okay now
still uh it is not looking great let me
add a background so you have an option
to add a shadow okay you have an opt
option to add the background you also
have an option to add the outline as
well okay so you have multiple option so
in this case I'm just going to give a
a simple
background and once you give a
background you can choose any color you
want so you can choose uh the colors
that you want you can control the uh
opacity okay so I think this is better
this is what I'll do it okay now you can
hold at this corner and adjust the size
of it as well or you can directly
control the font size from here as well
so now this is looking good okay
if you want to apply double colors then
just come over
here uh click on the particular word or
something that you want in a different
color come to the Color Picker and
select
it now if you see it's very simple but
it is looking a lot more elegant right
so when I play this is how it is going
to come right video editing right how
long you want to show the text you can
uh just select this and drag it to the
position as long as you want to show
this particular text okay so say for
example I want to show only till this
point I'm going to keep it till that
point so if I click on this right now so
this is how it is going to come video
editing
now say for example you want the the
typewriter to be bit faster you just
double click on
this go to
uh clip when you go to clip you you have
the animation speed right now it's at
100% I can just make it as say for
example 300% okay
example if I just click on this right
now see this right it comes at a faster
way as well that's how simple it is to
add a text okay now I'll tell you uh
something that can help you to save your
time as well now say for example every
time when I'm going to write the text
I'm going to write the text in the same
format same style and the position is
also going to be same in that case what
I can do you can just double click on
this text style that you
created and just click on new preset
okay when you go to new pre preset I'll
say as
uh I'll give my initial here uh
SB uh typewriter I'll say top uh top
template
okay so I just created a template name
and I'm going to save
this now what happens by this let me
delete
this if I go to my titles here my
titles and search
as
top uh
template that's what is the name that I
gave right SB typewriter top
template if I just drag and
drop you see I have has the same text
style and editing and everything for my
next video say for example now I'm doing
video editing tutorial next maybe I'm
going to do a YouTube tutorial all I'm
going to do is just click on this
particular text YouTube
tutorial
right brilliant you have the same text
stle format everything and you did not
have to go through every uh step to get
that right format again right so that's
how simple you can create more templates
as well in the same way I have created
uh some of the templates so I'll give
you some examples so that you get uh
clarity as well okay let me just close
this now say for example okay uh I want
to give towards the end
uh a question a text for people to ask
the question right say this any
questions comment below now this is the
template that I have created in the same
way so let's Let me give example of some
more things that I have created okay so
let's say for example uh Shri now this
is
my the simple uh template that I have
created for my channel name I don't have
to create every time I just have to drag
and drop okay in the same way uh I have
template for
um YouTube income Mass class right now
say for example uh if somebody wants to
attend my YouTube Mass class again I
have template for it I'm just going to
drive and drop it okay so that's how you
you can uh create lot of templates so
again you can explore this it's very
very simple again if you go to Artistic
you have a lot of options here I'm going
to show you one simple one I'll just
drag and drop this okay so this is what
it says say for example uh I'm going to
write here as um my name Shri Ram Bor
okay so I'll adjust the font size to
maybe 100 okay so again you if you see
here this is one separate and this is
one separate element it's two different
element okay now if you keep it here I
think the height of it is bit too much I
can just adjust
it and bring the text right in the
middle okay now if you see if I drag
this only text is going to come so what
you're going to do just click the mouse
and drag on top of it both are going to
be selected now you can select both of
them at any place you want and if you
want to resize just hold the
corner and do it like this right that's
how simple it is okay again you can just
double click create a new preset and
save this template as well okay so
that's how simple it is and again uh if
I just uh click on this right now you'll
see see that's how it is going to come
as well okay so that's about uh
different
uh uh style texts that are there again
you have a lot of them you have a lot of
opening and closing options uh you have
a lot of speech bubbles you have a lot
of artistic ones certainly you can
explore all of them as well okay now
let's move to the next part so we did
understand about the transitions now let
me just quickly check what we are going
to uh understand so we understand
understood about adding text uh time
saving tip especially for uh creating
that text templates we understood about
transitions let's see how to add music
as well okay now
coming to adding
music see as I mentioned there are some
music clips that are available within
MOA
itself so if you use this music for your
videos and when you upload on YouTube
there are high chances that you might
get copyright claim even though you are
using the paid version but when you make
an appeal to YouTube saying that okay
you have used the music from paid
version the claim is going to be removed
but why do you want to go with the extra
step of uh raising the claim right so I
would recommend not to go uh with this
music but
however go to
YouTube now let me show you how exactly
you can get uh the music that you can
use in your YouTube videos okay and you
don't get copyright issues with that now
to do that just go to your uh YouTube
channel log to YouTube channel uh when
you go there okay now again if you have
not created a YouTube channel uh just uh
check in the description I have given
the video on how to create a YouTube
channel and again it is also given in
this info link as well you can just
click on that and you can watch how to
create a YouTube channel as
well now when you go here just click on
YouTube Studio once you click on YouTube
Studio this is how it is going to look
okay now what you need to do on the left
side scroll and you'll see something
called as audio library okay you see
here as audio library okay so come over
there and click on
this now here you have multiple music
options that are available okay so you
see there are lot of options available
so from here you can download any of the
music clips that uh you really connect
to okay now say for example if I like
this music I can just download this so
this is where you can get lot of music
options okay and uh you also have sound
effects also available okay if you want
some sound effects you can get that as
well okay uh coming to music you also
have option to select based on different
different categories
uh to keep it simple uh you can play any
of the music anything that connects to
you you can certainly take it and use it
in your video and one quick thing to
mention if you come to music there are
two types of music available one is
attribution not required okay so that
means when you use this music you don't
have to mention about this in your
video but if you go for some of the
music which are attribution
required see in this case it says uh
attribution required right so if you go
to license type uh you see this okay uh
creating Commons attribution
4.0 this you have to copy and give it in
your YouTube video description if you're
going to use any of the music which is
coming with uh attributions okay so for
now I'm going to just leave it like this
I'm going to search one of the music so
let's search this uh music here okay now
I want to use this music what I'm going
to do I'm just going to download see
again I remember this music name so
that's the reason why I have searched
this so it is getting downloaded
now what we'll do I'll go to my uh
downloads folder so here is the music
I'm just going to drag this and I'm
going to come to my
editor okay and put it in
the at the uh below the video right
where it is giving the indication of uh
the music here right you see the music
symbol here that's where I have put it
okay now
if I just play this so this is how it
would
sound right so that's how you can do it
now if you see the music is quite longer
again just like video you can just uh
trim it as
well I just trimmed it to this portion
okay now if you if I play towards the
end it is abruptly ending right so it is
suddenly ending I don't want want
something like this what you can do just
double click on this and give a fade out
maybe Fade Out of uh one or 1.5 seconds
now if you see when I play
this see it is gradually lowering the
volume which is good okay so this is a
great uh option that you have as well
okay so that's how simple you can add
the music as
well now say for example you want to
have your audio also and you want to
have the music as well in that case
let's take for an example I have the my
audio also okay and the music is also
there if I play this in this video let
me show you right so my audio is too
loud so I'm going to reduce the
audio okay let's play this in this video
let me show you how right now if you
want to increase the volume of this
particular music you can slightly
increase as
well in this video let me show you how
to replace this entire background with a
different one with the of right see
that's how simple it is you can control
your audio levels you can control the
level of the music as well again you
want to reduce the audio level of this
you can certainly just do like this okay
so that's how you add a music and you
can control as well now say for
example you have recorded a video but uh
because there was a lot of background
noise or something you did not capture
the audio but you want to capture the
audio in the editing tool in that case
you can certainly do it here as well how
to record audio okay to record the audio
here you see this option which is shown
here microphone option okay you just
have to click on
that once you uh click on
this okay so let it load it is going to
tell you which audio device you want to
use now say for example I'm going to say
as uh MacBook Pro microphone okay that's
what I'm giving always please make sure
that you are keeping your Audio Level
between the range of 50 to 60% for
getting a clear voice if you keep it
100% then the audio quality is not going
to be good okay so 50 to 60% is a decent
one second is you can select this play
video during the
recording now what this will do while
the video is being recorded and uh while
the audio is being recorded the pointer
will also move along with that so that
you know when exactly you are recording
for that particular frame or what
exactly you are recording for that
particular frame as well right so that's
something that you need to consider as
well so let me just quickly hit the
start recording when I hit start
recording it will say 3 2 1 and the
recording started as
well okay so that's how you can record
uh your audio in this editing software
as well and uh it has a good uh noise
cancellation
features as well not very great but yes
it does uh decent work okay so for
now if I just uh play
this and the recording started as right
so the audio has been recorded that's
how simple it is to record the audio
okay now let's understand uh the other
features so we just learned how to add a
music how to add our voice over now
let's understand how we can remove a
background now let's see how to remove
the background now say for example I
don't want this background I want a
different background okay now where can
you get the backgrounds so for you uh
certainly you can get backgrounds from
um unsplash.com you can absolutely use
this uh background images or absolutely
free okay so let me just quickly show
you say for example I'm going to search
as uh office uh background I'm going to
search as office
background so anything that you are
seeing in this top section these are all
paid which you don't need okay now if
you scroll down here okay all the things
that uh you see here these are all free
okay let me uh pick up a background here
which is going to give that uh good
Appeal Office background with uh clock
let's see if there is something with
clock okay yeah I think
uh
probably this one may go better okay
I'll quickly down download for free okay
so I got this downloaded let me go to
the downloads so we have it
here I'm just going to drag and drop
here please note something if you want
to remove your background and uh if you
want to see
this as uh a background in that case
please
have two video tracks okay right click
click on ADD video track now you got one
more video
track the frame that should be a
background is going to be at the bottom
it is going to be in the bottom uh video
layer and your video is going to be on
the upper layer that's how it it should
be and again you can drag this to any
length you want I'm just going to show
on this so that you understand let me
just remove all this other things
now
okay let me remove this as well okay now
if you see this how it looks for you to
remove the
background just double click on the
video come to the last uh section more
tools you have an option here which says
as background
removal you have quick and precise
precise is where it most accurately
removes everything from the background
quick is just to demonstrate right now
that okay how exactly is going to remove
as well I'm going to click on
remove in uh just about couple of
seconds with the help of artificial
intelligence AI right it is going to
remove that background as well so let's
see how the background removal happens
and again for this you don't need green
screen but again the accuracy is going
to be low but yes it still does that job
as well so let me show you how that
looks okay so if you see right
now I move to a different place right so
that's the background that came so so
that's how you can uh remove the
background as well now say for example
you want some video clip okay in that
case again go to uh some of the websites
like say for example I'm going to go
to pixabay okay maybe you want some
video clips which uh you want to be
playing at the
background okay we can do that as
well I'll search here as uh video okay
now say for example uh I'll say as uh
beach now say for example I like this
one okay I'm going to click on this once
you click on this just click on uh
download and uh you have various quality
available I'm going to select this 1920
into 1080 and I'm going to click on
download so it is getting
downloaded so once it gets downloaded
I'm going to go to the download folder
again this is free for you to use okay
you don't get any copyright issues by
using uh images from unsplash or uh from
pixa
okay so please make sure you are not
using something which is a paid one okay
as long as you're using the free one you
will not have any issues okay now I'll
go to the
editor and uh what I'll do I'll just
drag and drop
this
okay now say for example I don't want uh
this uh image background rather I want
this background maybe I'm explaining
something about Beach or something right
if you see so now if I play this so this
is how it looks right now if you see
right now I'm at the beach right so
that's how the background is coming as
well so that's how simple it is to
remove the background now if you're
somebody who has a green screen in that
case it is very easy as well you can get
a lot more better uh quality outcome so
let me just quickly show you a sample of
it uh so that you understand okay so let
me uh open one of the green screen
backgrounds so there's a green screen
I'm going to drag and drop it here okay
so let me just quickly stretch this part
okay I'm going to double click on the
video uh come to the the video effects
or the features that are there you have
background uh you have chroma key here
you need to click on chroma key to
remove the uh the green screen okay so
just click on the pencil icon that you
see uh next to the
color okay and come and click on the
screen that's it now if you see see the
accuracy right now right so this is lot
more accurate than without having a
green screen right so that's how green
screen can be a great for removing uh
the background very clearly as well okay
so that's about removing the background
now let's understand the next
things so creating a channel intro so uh
if you want to create a channel intro it
is very very simple um again please note
that you don't need a fancy intro for
your channel you don't need a fancy
intro and your intro should be less than
uh 5 Seconds recommended is around 3 to
4 seconds not more than 5 seconds for
sure okay so come to intros here they
have some uh templates available so say
for example I'm just going to
uh grab one of them here so say for
example I'm going to grab this I'll put
it here
okay uh if you just click on the uh edit
this intro okay and then click on
text I'll say as say for example I'll
give my channel name as uh a A2 C arts
and
crafts okay so you want to make it a
bold you can uh make it as uh bold let
me select everything make it as bold
okay or you want to change the font size
you can change the font size uh I'm
going to make it as acrobat black bold
so so you want to increase the font size
you can cly do
it place it in the middle and uh that's
it a simple channel in has been created
right and again as I said don't uh make
it more than 3 or 4 seconds keep it very
very simple you don't need a fancy
intro okay so that's how you can do it
and again there are quite uh some
templates available here you can check
for some of them and use whatever is
going to be connecting to you but again
I repeat again please make sure your
channel intro is not more than 3 to 4
seconds next is uh screen recording I'll
come to this uh part later uh speed
increase and decrease how you can uh
increase the speed of your video okay so
let's see how to do that say for example
I don't want to show show it so slowly
right I'm just going to double click on
this you have the speed option you can
increase the
speed okay now if I play this
see so that's how you can increase the
speed or you can decrease the speed as
well now one more feature that you need
to understand say for example U towards
the end of the video okay if you want to
give a fade out okay you can give the
fade out as well say for example I'm
going to give the Fade Out for 1 second
now if you see slowly it will uh now you
see when you give the fade out it's
slowly turning uh uh blackish and then
it slowly Fades
away with that uh now let's move to the
next uh thing so this is a important
feature that's conceal and uh blur so
let's see how to do that now what is
conceal and
blur if I go to my video let's take for
an example while recording a video there
was sensitive information or maybe say
for example while recording there were
some kids or somebody who was coming who
was seen in the video now we don't want
to show that okay in that case what you
can do you can blur that particular
section as well uh in this case I'm
going to show an example say for example
okay uh I don't want to show the names
of my book example okay I want to blur
this section so let me uh show you how
to do that to do that just come to your
video now go to this more tools option
you have something called as highlight
and conceal click on that when you click
on highlight and conceal you see a box
like this you bring this right on top of
it okay and uh you have different
different options here I'll say blurred
rectangle right or you can give as uh
pixel rectangle so that's how you can
blur a particular section as well okay
so let's understand the next
things next is exporting and different
formats before that let's come to screen
recording now say for example uh you
want to record your laptop screen okay
or you want to record a presentation
along with your
video just the way you are seeing right
now right you are seeing the editor
screen as well you are also seeing me
also in the video now how do we do that
when you go for uh ma vide Suite okay so
uh this option is available with M video
Suite again I have given the link of
this editing software in the video
description if you want to get that you
can certainly get it uh you get the
lifetime deal for just about 3
,200 or 300 or something like that okay
now uh how to record a screen now to do
that right now the screen recording has
been happening so uh all you need to do
is just come on come on uh come and
click on this plus icon then click on
capture screencast so once you uh click
on capture screencast it is going to
tell what area to select which
particular screen to select for uh
recording okay so I'm recording from my
cell phone and showing this
now to record the screen just click on
the plus icon at the top now once you
click on the plus icon you see capture
screencast so just click on
that now once you click here you you see
the cursor uh which is there to select
the recording area okay now whichever uh
screen that you want to record maybe you
want to record the Chrome browser okay
you can select the entire Chrome browser
section here okay or uh if you want to
record something else now say for for
example maybe you want to record a
PowerPoint okay you can uh toggle around
and you can select that uh area right so
once you are sure which one to record so
in this case I'm just going to set as
Chrome browser now you see at the bottom
uh you see my video also that is being
shown there okay uh that's the camera
icon if I just uh turn off my video is
off so you can see at the bottom there
okay so so once I uh click again on the
camera
icon my camera is going to be turned on
so you can see my uh video also shown at
the bottom right corner okay so this is
how you can enable the camera or disable
the camera now if you click on the
microphone icon you can choose from all
the U microphones you have once done

1 and now the screen recording has been
started so it is going to record your
video along with the screen as well once
you're done just click that end
button so once you end that when you go
to your maavi editing software your
video is available here okay so this is
how you do the screen
recording now once I play so you could
see that the video has been
recorded now so your video is almost
ready now say for example you need the
Subscribe button okay uh you also want
to highlight the Bell notification in
that case so what you can do you can go
to a website called as uh pixels pxs
okay I'll probably give the link of it
in the video description and just search
as subscribe button so once you search
you see free subscribe buttons here so
say for example I'm going to download
this one okay once I download
this uh I'm going to grab this and put
it in my uh
editor
okay so please note uh you need to right
click and uh add a video track okay so
once you add a video track just grab
this on top of your video on top of your
video okay and right
click go to tools
position and reduce this okay so say for

settings as well so basically using this
editing software you can uh edit video
for Instagram you can edit video for
Facebook you can edit video for uh
YouTube all the platform videos can be

editing just click on export and uh make
sure you have select the video option
