How To Combine Multiple PDF's into a Single PDF using Apple Preview

hello and welcome to epic tutorials my
name is Elliot bearing and i'm going to
show you how to use preview which comes
free on all max to collate multiple PDS
this process is useful if you're working
on documents from more than one
application and you want to combine them
into a single document at the end for
printing or sharing electronically for
example on my desktop here I've got a
script that was created using caltex and
i also have a cover sheet that was made
in pages because caltex wouldn't let me
insert an image etc so now i want to
combine the two to do this simply
double-click and open either one of them
in preview next if you're using lion you
have to show thumbnails you can do that
by clicking this icon and now we can see
the page thumbnails
alternatively you can go to the View
menu and select that here if you're
using snow leopard or an earlier version
of OSX you'll find it around here under
show sidebar
now take your second document and click
and drag it and drop it on the thumbnail
of your document not above not below on
the thumbnail as you can see we now have
one document the only problem being is
its push my first page to the very
bottom we wanted to be that at the start
of the documents are just click and drag
that up the top and release it so now
we've got one PDF document now you could
keep dragging and dropping as many pdfs
as you want
now when you're done simply go file and
save a version now when i open the cover
sheet you can see that we have the
entire document as a single PDF ready
for printing for more epic janitorial
