How to make a Foldable or Accordian Book

A common teaching strategy is to use "foldables" or have students make books
of information in class. This video details how to make two different styles of books.

so you'll begin by taking one of your

in order to make an accordion book
you're going to need to take a regular
piece of paper and fold it into a square
you can do this by pulling one corner
over to the other edge making it flush
and making a crease they'll be a little
piece of extra rectangle that you can
either fold and tear along your table or
cut with a pair of scissors
once you have a regular piece that is in
this where make sure the fold is up like
a mountain and fold the piece of paper
in half make a nice strong crease open
it up and fold it in half the other way
you'll need to do this with however many
pieces of paper you want to make pages
in your book once you've made the
initial fold for all of your pieces of
paper want to really make sure that
those creases are strong by refolding a
should be able to tuck in the corners
increase it into the smaller square this
smaller squares how big your book will
be when it's all folded up in order to
assemble your book you're going to be
putting two sides of the square together
with one open end facing one closed-end
you can either use a glue stick or tape
but make sure when you put them together
one open end is facing one closed and
press down firmly to make sure they
stick together do the same for the next
pages
once they're stuck together if you open
up your book you will see all of your
pages unfold
