Vbar NEO non v-link freeze with BK 8002 servos (WR BEC works!!)

Big thanks to rcflyerheli on helifreak for convincing me to try the Western Robotics Hercules Super BEC. It works flawlessly and I have no explanation why. Ruled out power, voltage and spikes (using capacitors). Some Voodoo magic is in this WR BEC and others should take note....

okay Holly freakers this is darryl we're
a small on le freak i received a private
message from RC fire heli today
he's from grandberry this is UK
he kept recommending that i try the
Western robotic super Hercules b ec
so after kinda brushed them off which
was the wrong thing to do have finally
taken out my Western robotics bc in my
castle
this is a castle de ce pro and this is a
Western robotics set the eight point two
volts on the Western robotics and eight
bolts on the castle
i currently have the castle look to the
b-bar i have one servo to prove that
it's not a power issue i'm using another
different v bar just to prove that it's
not the b-bar another different receiver
is on my goblin 380 and after powering
them up
this is the castle
better picture this
ok i'm not using any pitch pumps at all
my pitch pump is set at zero
ok
now we're going to thank you think our
see flyer heli is on to something here
but it's not exactly answer and why the
only thing I found so far that works is
the Western robotics bc i'm going to
wire to improve it
my lipo 12 so i go i'm using just in
case you're wondering yes the Western
robotics bc will work with the 12 so
like I think up to 14
that's why I got it and prefer it over
the okay now this is the Western
robotics bc wired up going to hook up my
12 cell lipo just two pulses from my 570
focus there
okay Goblin 380 is back up and running
the word 8.2 volts which is exactly what
are setting is on the Western robotics
bc you're going to get a pitch pump test
with a setting of 50 is your answer
one servo works great
I'm confident it will work with all the
servos if it's working with one
I do not have an answer why I know it's
not anything to do with the power
because I've tested this with liposomes
and I believe a lipo probably puts out
more items in the Western robotics
I've tested this with different
capacitors and a lipo and still had it
fail
I've tested this with the hobbywing the
10 amp internal hobbywing be easy and it
failed
I've tested it with the castle 20 amp be
easy
pro
and it was to set at eight volts and it
failed
so then the Western robotics and 8.2
volts and I'm confident is nothing to do
with power works so i do have a solution
here we can think our see flyer healthy
for this
this is something he went through with
the the I guess older versions of the
bar before the neo came out something he
found it does not explain why it why
fails with everything else but at least
this is this is an option to purchase
this can remember how much it was I want
to say it's close to a hundred dollars
but at least it's an option to the over
happened to buy another set of servos
six-hundred-dollar set of servos
it seems to me that that Western
robotics Hercules dec is definitely the
best choice for anything
related to be bar and in an external
satellite
I think running at Western robata to
this is a good idea
no matter what you got no it does have
two power cords on it so i would
recommend to get the full capacity out
of it to pull the grape in office single
connector right here
you have shown me that one pin on that
connector little bit blurry and and
running that single grape in into one of
the pins of the Western bottom that'll
give you one next report because once
you have all your stuff plugged in to
hear the most you're going to get is a
channel for so you can have one of these
Western robotics going to channel 4 and
the other go into the office -
alongside this single pin if you combine
them into that same pin that will give
you the room to still have your esc and
don't forget that with your speed
controller you need to unplug the power
wire going to it
so this one my speed controller power
wire I would take that red wire out and
disconnect it
so you'd be running completely off the
Western robotics on the other end the
business and it looks to me like
soldering is your only option for me it
makes it difficult to run an external be
easy because I run the single bullets
so I have a tendency to want to try to
find a way to open up the cover of my
esc speed controller and solder it
closer to that and bring it back
sometimes that doesn't work so well
because the solder it seems to be really
whipped into the wire coming off of the
esc at least on the castles
so I haven't done anything else
ok hello fakers this is we race MO and
again thank you to our see fire heli for
being persistent
nagging and nagging me and I apologize
he was right and we do have a fix to get
the 80 two servos working
Cheers
