Hello everybody! Welcome to the Meta Report.
Today we are going to be reviewing the game between Caren Tiger and PVP Super Friends ...
... and checking out the current standings of all the Gold League teams.
Set one on Mines, Caren Tiger defending with a rather unusual set up, taking 2 IS-4s,
While PVP takes a more standard set up for the attack.
Both teams move to the central position to contest the hill.
PVP send their 50B to the island to control it ( island ).
Caren Tiger sends their Batchat around the back of the hill to try to catch PVP off guard.
The two teams exchange some hull down shots at each other.
Caren Tiger, having approximated the positions of PVP's forces, then push the Batchats to the rear of PVP ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Tedamaru quickly goes down, and PVP decides to push into Caren Tiger's forces ...
... leaving Caen and imbalance to the rear to defend against the Batchats.
One of the Batchats is taken out, but the other one escapes to join the main fight.
PVP - not having been able to do enough damage - start to scatter, eventually being picked off one by one by Caren Tiger's forces.
In this case, we see Caren Tiger doing a swift tactical action, causing them to have a clear advantage in the later game.
Caren Tiger wins.
Set two, Caren Tiger attacking with the exact same set up...
... and PVP defending with the standard set up.
(PVP) Super Friends sets up a base style defense, while Caren Tiger sends their two Batchats to take the hill ...
... and the AMX30 on the island.
PVP's defense relies on Caen being in the bush and spotting the enemy positions.
Caren Tiger senses this, and starts to blind fire the area while pushing its IS-4s up the hill.
Having determined the island is safe, Caren Tiger then sends the AMX 30 to take it, rotating its forces to create pressure on cap number 2.
PVP Super Friends, having no vision on the cap, are then forced to send Caen to spot cap, being reset in the nick of time by the tanks at K4.
PVP then counters by sending in its IS-7s to try to take the hill while the AMX 50B snipes.
AMX 50B gets taken out, however, by the two IS-4s on the hill,
Leaving the two IS-7s in the middle and in the crossfire,
With PVP's T110E5 at the back being quite ineffective.
Caren Tiger then proceeds to finish mopping up the rest of PVP's team.
Caren Tiger wins.
In this scenario, we see Caren Tiger assaulting the enemy's position and then moving their forces to attack on the weak side of the enemy.
Unfortunately, PVP Super Friends isn't flexible enough to counter-engage the enemy.
Set three on Himmelsdorf.
Caren Tiger attacks with the same lineup, which is kind of funny considering it's a totally different map.
PVP again taking a standard mix of heavies and autoloaders to defend the map.
PVP sets up a defense more or less centred on cap number one, seeing the lineup of Caren Tiger's...
... while sending their AMX 1390 to spot out the hill.
Caren Tiger sets up a very spread formation trying to get a feel for the defense of Super Friends
After trying an unsuccessful approach on cap number one, Caren Tiger then sends their T-54 Lightweight to apply pressure on cap number 2.
With control of the hill and the courtyard, Caren Tiger tries to take side\shots as the tanks across over the five line.
Knowing that the heavies have crossed the five line, Caren Tiger then swings around the T-54 Lightweight to apply pressure on the opposite cap...
... effectively dividing PVP's forces while they cap out the base.
PVP has to rush back to try to reset the cap but is eventually not successful in doing so.
Caren Tiger wins.
In this case, we see Caren Tiger using the T-54 Lightweight to apply pressure on either cap...
... forcing the defense to have to relocate itself while taking damage in transit.
Caren Tiger is really controlling the tempo of the game, and using their knowledge of the enemy location to their best advantage.
Set four, Caren Tiger is defending, but only switching a Batchat for a 50B and keeping the rest of their lineup intact ...
... while PVP swaps out the AMX 13 90 for two Conquerors.
Seeing PVP's heavy setup, Caren Tiger sets up a defense around cap number 2 ...
... sending the two IS-4s to key positions to defend the 8 line against incoming approach.
PVP sends a Conqueror and a Waffentrager E-100 up the hill while the rest of its tanks form up to secure the courtyard.
Caren Tiger counters by sending three tanks to try to retake the hill.
The engagement favours Caren Tiger, as LittleMac is not able to focus down a target and his damage is instead spread throughout two tanks ...
... leaving both of them alive and him on his long reload.
PVP Super Friends then pushes its three E-100s into the two IS-4s ...
... while their IS-7 and Conquerors are being taken out by the two FV215bs by Caren Tiger back on the 3 line.
Caren Tiger's goal was to slow down the E-100s while their high damage per minute tanks finish off the support tanks from PVP.
This having been done, the rest of Caren-Tiger's forces then converge on the three E-100s, who find themselves surrounded, then taken out one by one.
Caren Tiger wins.
Set number five on Ghost Town, Caren Tiger attacking with a standard setup ...
... while PVP takes a rather unconventional four FV215bs and two E-100s.
PVP goes to secure the south, while Caren Tiger goes straight for the central cap zone.
PVP, reacting to cap pressure, then circles to cap number two to try and catch Caren Tiger's forces off guard.
The AMX 13 90 from Caren Tiger escapes right in time to stay alive.
PVP's forces then proceed to take out the two E-100s in the middle; Caren Tiger leaves a Batchat and an AMX50b in the middle ...
... to distract PVP's forces while three of their tanks cap base number one.
PVP, being too slow to return to cap, are capped out by Caren Tiger.
Caren Tiger wins.
Caren Tiger shows us in these five sets that they really know how to set the tempo in each game ..
... making the enemy react to the movements on the battlefield to best suit them.
Caren Tiger wins the game.
