saving phrases in phrase Express is very
easy and phrase Express offers multiple
ways if you type in a phrase in any
application where you think that you
might need it again just highlight the
desire text and press contrl alt C which
is very easy to memorize because because
contrl C copies into the clipboard and
control alt C somehow copies into phrase
Express then the phrase Express wizard
prompts you to enter a description by
default it's the beginning of the phrase
but you can change it here then you can
assign one or more triggers that are
used to execute the phrase later for
example you could use an Autotext which
is a text abbreviation which you enter
in any application and phrase Express
will expand it to the entire phrase the
auto text options are described in the
documentation you can either execute the
phrase immediately after entering the P
so the last letter of the auto text or
after a default delimiter which is any a
punctuation mark or space or enter or
instead of automatically pasting the
phrase phrase Express can autter
natively prompt you to insert the phrase
let's stick with the default option you
can optionally Define multiple triggers
by pressing the plus
symbol and selecting from the options
you can either Define a second auto text
or a hotkey for
example like control out M by default
the triggers are recognized in any
application on your computer however in
some cases you might want to restrict
the scope of the phrase in this case
check here and Define the programs you
wish to restrict the phrase to for
example
wordpad by the way if the program is not
listed here launch it first and then try
again and you should find it here you
can additionally restrict the phrase to
specific window title if needed let's
stick it with the default settings
phrases are organized in a customizable
folder
structure and you can select the desired
folder where you wish to store the new
phrase you can either browse through the
phrase tree or you can type part of the
name of the folder this is my personal
phrase folder and I select
this in case the phrase is formatted you
can opt to save it as plain text or as
format text
that's it phas express saves the phrase
and offers you to review it in the main
program window a guide helps you to
navigate around the
program here you can adjust the
phrase or move it into another
folder just by drag and
drop
if you're in a hurry and just want to
save the phrase and configure it later
you can simply highlight the desired
phrase and copy the phrase into the
clipboard if you have multiple phrases
just
repeat and again I highlight the phrase
and copy to the clipboard then open the
main program window with a right click
and select open program window and
navigate to the clipboard
cage and here here you have all your
phrases which you just copied to the
clipo you can then drag and drop them
into your phrase library for permanent
storage if the clipo cage should not be
available in your installation open file
click settings and navigate to Features
make sure that this is
checked you can also create new phrases
in the main program itself to open the
program window right click the task tray
icon and select program
window then navigate to the folder where
you wish to store the new phrase or
create a new
folder then click new
phrase
and configure is
needed if you already have data from
other applications you can easily import
them into phrase Express to create new
phrases here we have an extra
spreadsheet with
abbreviations simply drag and drop where
you wish to import them and select
generate phrases from each line of the
file
contents PR Express analyzes the content
and tries to associate The Columns of
the Exel spreadsheet
with a phrase description auto text or
the text contents in this example this
is messed up and as you can see the
third column actually is a description
so click in the title and select
description now the column title matches
the actual
contents the fourth column actually is
the abbrevation the fourth column
actually is the auto text abbreviation
so again click here and select auto text
the first two columns can be disregarded
so
select and click none and do the same
here click okay to import and here is
the list of
abbreviations including the Autotext
