IDMarkz Open In Affinity Publisher Feature
Closed Caption:
Let's take a look at the "Open in
Affinity Publisher feature of IDMarkz.
I have IDMarkz open. I have a document
open and to open that in Affinity
Publisher, I simply click on the "Open in
Publisher" icon, here, in the main toolbar.
I do need to have Affinity Publisher
loaded on my computer. IDMarkz will fire
up Affinity Publisher. Affinity Publisher
will present its "PDF Options" dialog. I'll
leave everything at default and click on
"Open". Affinity Publisher will assign a
profile, and my InDesign document is now
open in Affinity Publisher. You'll also
notice that, at the same level as the
InDesign file, IDMarkz created a folder.
And this is the PDF file that was opened
in Affinity Publisher. So, in Publisher, I
can actually go ahead and edit the file,
change colors, go ahead and add text, go
down here into the images area. And, if I
look at an image here, all of the tools
that are available in Affinity Publisher
allow me to modify the image, in real
time, or my preview, save the file out,
and I now have an Affinity Publisher file
converted and created from my InDesign
file, using IDMarkz.
