once you've checked the job we'll then
show you what the different preflight
modes are there's two main different
modes to get results on your files but
there's more

for instance the next feature the
preflight reporting there's a full
preflight reporting feature in
flightcheck you can even customize it
a lot of times you notice in the
interface you can leave comments and
things like that which can then show up
on the pre-flight report in addition to
the full preflight information you can
actually have comments on what you would
like other people to do with this file
or that image in that file or that font
in that file etc

the pre-flight reporting in flightcheck
is extremely powerful now what's
beautiful about flightcheck under the
preferences and under report
is host of other preferences you can
actually customize
your
report to be for your company or for
your business whatever it might be
so you can add in all different
information even custom
css type of information but just the
basics like you know where's your logo
information and this will all then allow
us to when we run a report and there's
more information you can set up here to
help you be more productive but now when
we run a report on let's say this
indesign file here
we can first get a preview
of the report
so here's html
uh preview
and if you leave any comments in the
preflight section when you're going
through the file they'll show up here as
well which is very cool
the json version for those
automated workflows
rtf
so now when i
hit report
and you can further hit customize to
take you back to where we just were
we can actually export reports
which are very handy for well archiving
you know putting with the job uh package
if you have though some people still
print these out and put with the job bag
now if i go in there i get the rtf here
when i open that up you'll see we get
the full preflight report with the
customized information that we added in
there
and all the other various preflight data
on the file
everything used in the file and any
potential
things to look out for and like i said
you can add notes in here you can
customize this even further
created by flightcheck
so
great you saw the preflight reporting
very powerful even that alone check a
file make a report archived with the job
many people do that just for
security or
um you know liability reasons here
here's how the file came in and later on
here how's the state of the file is now
so that you know whoever worked on it in
between didn't break anything or maybe
did but then you can actually see the
paper trail of what's happened preflight
reporting very powerful in flightcheck
2022
and extremely handy
it's important to note that all of these
things here are possible on all
different file formats we support in the
flightcheck engine which will grow over
time right now flightcheck supports
adobe indesign quarkxpress adobe
illustrator and pdf very soon is coming
photoshop native photoshop support and
many other file formats are
on the radar some very interesting ones
as well
