How to Make Your Own Watermark/Logo for Your Videos using Adobe Photoshop

In this tutorial, I will be showing you how to make a watermark/logo for your videos. I recommend this because it allows people who already watched your videos to tell just by looking at your logo that it is "your" video. It also prevents people from copying your videos and claiming it is "theirs". Look below, and you will find the link to Photoshop and the Watermark Template.

welcome once again to another one of my
tutorials in this tutorial will show you
how to make a watermark for your videos
using any version of adobe photoshop now
if you look on my screen you see a
watermark on the bottom right hand
corner that is my logo and i'll show you
how to make one so the purpose of one is
so that you can distinguish your videos
from everyone else is and so that when
one person sees it they know it's your
video and it prevents people from
copying your video and claiming that
it's theirs now i highly recommend this
so just follow what I do and just open
up Adobe Photoshop you don't have it
just go to my description and click on
the download link now i'll be using cs2
but you can use any other version if you
want
alright so we want to start any
documents so just click on file and then
new and here the settings that you want
for the new document make sure the
preset custom the width is at
one-hundred the height is at one-hundred
and make sure they are at pics of pixels
and the resolutions that 72 pixels per
inch and the color modes are BG color
RGB color and it's at 16-bit and this is
very important make sure that the
background contents are set at
transparent you don't have transparent
it won't look good so then click ok and
I'll just explain a customized mind
document so you can see it
alright so now from here you can pretty
much make whatever you want but if you
don't know how to make 1 i'll show you
using my own
watermark template and you can get to
this template by opening up your
internet browser and typing in the
following
now this is much later so i won't say
out loud but you cannot get find this
website or page by going to my
description and clicking on the link to
it or you can just type it how you see
on my screen anyway you should open and
get to this page and this is what the
template looks like now show you how you
can customize it to make it look even
better but this is the the wrong
document so first off just right click
it and click copy now back to adobe
photoshop you want to paste it so you
can now you need to go to edit and paste
alright so now that you have the
watermark in the template actually you
need to edit so first you want to use
the magic wand tool and he really
maximizes if you see you have this white
stuff around it that's what you don't
want so just click on that area and
click delete
alright so now that you delete delete it
now you want to customize it so you can
do this by going to the area to the lair
and double clicking it and now you
should get this window popping up here
you want to go to stroke and now let me
move it over a little bit you see the
image has a border around it you can
change the color by clicking here and
you can adjust the color that you want
you can do whatever you want I'll just
for example just put blue and i'll just
click ok now if you see I have a blue
border around my circle and you can
increase the size of it by you know
increasing it but i recommend putting it
at 3 or 4 i'll just put out for
and then click ok alright so now here is
what it should look like whatever color
you want you can make a green blue red
anyways now we want to add the text so
click on the text tool and now select
the area and you want to put about 30 or
24 alright i'll just type in CC for
computer counselor just drag it in
highlighted and select the color that
you want again so i'll just select blue
and click OK and now you should see that
i have a blue blue text now just
actually increase my font size i'll just
put at 48
alright so now i actually have it i'm
actually done now you can i'm just doing
it fast for example purposes but
obviously you should take your time on
this and check out some more effects
like drop shadow or bevel now i'll talk
about this later in another video but
just this is a basically what you want
to do and now it should look something
like that and now that you're done click
file and save as and make sure that you
select PNG for the format you want to
see it as or you can save it as a JPEG
but I don't have it on my window right
now so I won't say that i'm just going
to see it as a PNG and just name it i'll
just let me test name it whatever you
want and then click Save and 4.png
options make sure it isn't at none and
then click OK and all right i'll just
minimize it and now you are done making
your watermark
