yeah
hi everybody and welcome to this video
on how to create a particular template
using Excel
first of all we're going to begin with a
new workbook and we're going to enter
some information about ourselves about
our company
so we'll start off with our company name
and our address details
now we're just going to put some
near but you get the feel that we're
just creating a placeholder to put our
address and our family contact details
we'll finish off with a complete
elephant
just sent to hear
well and as you can see there's our
common interests details
so the next thing we want to do is just
make clear that the document is a
purchase order
so we're gonna into the woods purchase
order until the document and add some
information about the purchase order
number its date and and at the data
so now we've got some basic information
about the document and we'll add some
information about the supply of the
people were buying from all the vendor
and just to make things easy here which
is going to cut and paste the our
company details and then we can just
change the headings to represent the
supply
change that here to you a vendor company
next we're going to add some information
on what
the products
chip - so I ship to address and again
we'll just cut and paste the address
information we've created earlier just
to make it nice and easy
so the ship to address is telling your
supply away
you want your items and sent to deliver
to them and that might be different from
your normal business dress so it's
important to have that so we'll just go
back to the document header and into a
place holder for the buyer so the person
this rate of the purchase order and some
way to record our shipping terms are in
creatives
so we'll just make that up
yeah
so here we have them began to
the information that we want to store
about the past we want to order
so what partners were ordering a
description
how many were going to order what price
we expect to pay and a column and to
enable us to add up the total price and
we'll just format here will embolden it
ok we'll add some formatting at some
good lines and create a little table
here where we can record what we want to
order and we'll just do a few rows we
are going to do that many but again you
can add in as many like on your purchase
order and again with some great lines
here now we're just tidy up the
description area just to make that a
little bit wider
all you want to do that case you just
a few words and and typically that will
be bigger than your part number
so plenty of space therefore nice
description about what we want to order
okay we'll jump down to the bottom right
hand side now and will just begin to add
in our subtotals and information about
what tax we're going to play on the
order and a a grand total
and you might want to as well think
about just recording like an other cell
typically might get discount from your
supplier or you may get charged with
sensory costs that you just want to
record somewhere on the on the order
and to the left of our subtotals we've
added a text box just record any notes
or any text that you wanted to accompany
the post order and then we're going to
add a block underneath just for any
additional text might want to include
such as you know in terms of conditions
that you may want to attach your scent
with the order and wire contact details
or need any other information that you
think will be useful to the vendor when
they receive the order
ok well im a line here is a sick
the block so if you want to sign your
order before you send it out Sam without
an area here where you can do just have
some texts say authorized by
ok now we'll go back
top of the document and we'll add some
formatting so we'll make the company
name and the put sort of bold and we'll
make it larger
I think we'll add some some colors and
some shading as well just to pretty it
up and I think we showed in the vendor
details and the ship to information
ok then we can just make it a little bit
wider
well let's see
shading as well in our total price
column again just to just highlight
those really will add some boarders to
some of the cells and subtitle blocks
I wanted the tax and our other section
ok we'll make our ground
I'm section
down and we'll bolting out of a little
bit and we'll add some shading there so
it just sends out a little bit more
okay there we go
ok so I documents beginning to take
shape
I think the next thing we'll do is
resisting the grid lines of the document
and we just click on the menu here we
just take those off
ok
and there's our sort of template using
Microsoft Excel and that while it's been
a fairly generic document it should give
you enough ideas for you to go off and
have a go now creating your own poster
template if you use in your own
organization
okay thanks for watching
