4dots PDF Encrypter does batch protect one or multiple PDF documents with a password. A user password that is required for opening the document and also with an owner password for various permissions regarding the PDF Document such as allow high-resolution printing, low-resolution printing, commenting, form field fill-in or signing, content copying, document assembly or changing.
The PDF Documents can be encrypted in 128 bits or 40 bits.
The application is very easy to use. It is integrated into Windows Explorer and with a right click on the PDF files or folders they can be encrypted.
It is also possible to drag and drop PDF documents to be encrypted to the main window of the application.
The user can also add whole folders and their subfolders and their PDF documents are automatically added to the list of the PDF documents to be encrypted.
The application does NOT need Adobe Acrobat software installed.
4dots PDF Encrypter can also batch set the document information, such as author, subject, title and keywords, of multiple PDF documents.
The application is translated into 38 languages.
