this is the tools are going to need two
screwdrivers and Mark screwdrivers and
also the peril walk that is this is

revealing a whole lot of ribbon cables
and really stay to get a part

on the ribbon cables and i'll come out
or you can cut them with a wire cutter
which is what i'm about to do see a
white girls and just cut it that well

now its focus on getting this metal bits
off so i did I took a micro screwdriver
and just push the pins up
it's actually held on bike upload their

aluminium bits simple as that easy to do
little things
what you got on that reveals the light
assembly

it reveals just about nothing there to
get rid of the rest of the ribbon cables
and what is about laptop drives but it
seems you had a lot more than desktop
drives so we want to try and get the
rest of this out again i use the micro
screwdriver . gonna push it from the
other side but there we go
so yeah it is gonna pull to smaller
springs out they work about keeping the
laser assembly from rumbling and yeah so
once we got that out we reveal the whole
load lenses and refractive blocks as I
called the ball down the ribbon cables
so yes get rid of the ribbon cables
there we go c 2 square ones and one
rectangular one on its side pointing
upwards towards the laser a bit that you
thought it was so yeah
simple as that really see there is a
laser see the blue tint we give away and
there's a block there
there's a bit you thought was a laser
now
no identify where the lasers are already
know that X we can see them but there is
a configuration soldering is messy but
you can clearly see there is three
things there
so we're going to get that out really
have the one outside the heat reducing
aluminium
so delighted that mark screwdriver next
to it pulled out all the glue then got a
big screwdriver and it's like to grow
back off
simple as that it was a nice gap between
them so that was all right there we go
we have the laser diode inside a
protective aluminium meeting casing
thing
simple so once you've got the one out
you need to get the other out so yeah
there's a lot to do with all that
see where it went on the side there .
against little block you can see there
is also another one . into the bigger
block simple
it's what got to do next get to the one
out
this is the tree crowbar silence before
we go out crowbar out
this one's got a dreaded ribbon cable
attached to it but we can get that out
there
there we go to laser diodes now
- in animating now the big giveaway here
to me which one is red and we're 20 as
infrared one has a big heat sink my
logic tells me that the being a heating
the red laser but I'm not always right
so you have to refer to a video show you
later
now the other guys are dialed out the
heatsink take a bolt exactly the same
width of the diode is not hard to find
with her but at the top and gently
tapped out
I needed that there we go we sort of

so take a soldering iron and this album

long but it's definitely like the diode
