How to move an Outlook pst file to a new computer and add it to your profile.

in this video tutorial I'm going to show
you how to find your PST file in outlook
2003 and move it to a computer using
outlook 2010 or 2013 to locate the PSD
file go to file data file management and
you can select your PST file and then
click the open folder button this will
open Windows Explorer to the location of
your PST file once it's opened you can
close the dialog and close out look
before i move this PST file i'm going to
rename it so that i know which PST file
it is
copy your PST file - removable media and
transfer to the other computer
on the new computer you'll copy the PST
file from the media onto the hard drive
then in outlook you go to file open open
outlook data file and browse to the
location where you moved the PST file
selected and this will add it to your
folder list you can see we have it there
if i want to set that PST file as the
default data file i can go to file
account settings
switch to the data files tab select the
PST file and then click the set as
default button
