here for another day it's a lot to today
I'm going to give you a bit of a
tutorial on how to install the canon eos
utility software which allows you to
control the disallowed by your computer
if you don't have the CD that came with
your camera now a lot of people lose
this CD because you know your boxes
filled up with a lot of stuff and mainly
what you want in your camera so you
can't believe that DVD or CD in the box
and then lose it
that's what i've done so today I'm going
to teach you how to install the software
without using the CD and there we go
let's get to it
so installing the cannon is utility
software is actually pretty easy all you
need to do is know where to look and a
few files to change but once you've done
that it is a piece of cake
so first thing you need to do is go to
the description box of this website or
click right here it'll be a box that
comes up and it will take you to this
website right here where you can select
what kind of model we have so i actually
have the canon 70d I use it a lot of
videos so I'll go right here click on
the link and this will take me to the
cannon utilities page and we're also do
is select the drivers and software here
and and all you got all you do is go
down now what you want to do is click on
the software tab right here and look for
the eos utility 2.14 . o updated for Mac
os10 now might be a little bit different
when you look at this because they
update these every now and then but just
look for that kind of link and you want
to do is click the little plus symbol
and then agree to the terms and
conditions click that and then click
download now little box will pop up and
if you look in the right-hand corner
here you can see that it is downloading
and it should be on my desktop in a few
seconds so there it is on my desktop
right here all you need to do is click
on it to extract the file and a little
removable drive and come up here so
click onto that and now what you've got
is this be you two . one for that 0x
update a file now it would be lovely if
it was as simple as this just to click
it so we can install it but what you
need to do is click here and drag this
on to your desktop
once you've done this you want to
actually right click and go to show
package contents and this is where it
gets a little bit complex but just
follow along and it's really easy to go
to contents and then go to resources and
then see this little info . datx what
you want to do is delete that and then
close the folder now this should allow
you to install this as a a fresh install
so it's going to be pretty easy so
if we got here click on that it's going
to say it's an application that you
downloaded from the internet totally
fine
click open extracting it and here we go
we now have the installer for the u.s.
utility so i'm in new york at the moment
so i'm gonna click USA clicking United
States and it's going to start
installing it now I'm i already have it
installed so as you see when I click
install
it's going to say that its installed but
and that's not a problem there you there
you go for you it should work just the
same except it will install it so so
that's how you download the canon eos
utility software now if you haven't done
it already you can click right here and
that will take you to a link to download
