HP G62 Will not Boot - Black Screen of Death Data Recovery

The Hewlett-Packard G62 is similar to the Compaq CQ62. The power button is pressed, The Caps Lock fault indicator light flashes and the screen remains black. Conditions on the motherboard are preventing the Windows 7 system from powering up. In this demonstration we will show how to start Windows.
The HP & Compaq laptop computers share the same motherboards. There seems to be a problem with the solder points (back side of the board) behind the RAM and CPU. The joints appear to be a scaly light gray. A scrape with a sharp knife will reveal a small hole. If you have a steady hand and lots of patience, solder all the pins below each component. The other solution is to have the motherboard reflowed.
The method you are about to view is not a fix, rather a tool to recover your data. Once the computer boots, load all your data to an external device such as an external HDD or Flash Drive.
The caps lock indicator will once again display if the computer is shut down for a period of time.

connections on the motherboard the
constant heating and cooling has caused
some of the connection to become force
and crack in this demonstration will
show you how to overcome this issue
so you can retrieve your data we must
temporarily overheat the motherboard
which will cause the joints to slightly
expanded complete the circuit accomplish
this we must block the air flow to the
cooling fans air intake and exhaust
ports fooled a lint-free Cowell several
times
place the laptop on top of the towel
make sure it's over the fan in cake and
fold the excess over the fan exhaust
plug in the AC adapter and press the
power button allows the computer to run
for at least 20 minutes
reboot the computer it successful the
computer will start arming the computer
does not put a little more heat is
required
once the computer has put it to the
login screen remove the tall
now would be a good time to back up your
files as this is only temporary fix
eventually computer will not boot
to repair the computer it must be
disassembled and a motherboard reef load
in most cases this is cost prohibitive
