How to do a Power Point Presentation

Just a basic video tutorial on how to put together a power point presentation.

Because of phone calls during all hours of the night I can no longer accept them, I hope you can understand.This is a very simple tutorial of the basics of a power pt and nothing more.. hi everyone dying mom here
today I want to do a video tutorial
on how to put together a powerpoint
presentation
why do we do powerpoint presentation
well a lot of people are using
PowerPoint presentations for
webinars for making a video and so on i
know there's probably some other things
but it's a good way to explain how to do
something it's a good way to tell
somebody about a program it's a good way
to show somebody how to market i mean
you can do almost anything on this
powerpoint because their slides
they're separate slides and you can
present something in steps
you know it's whatever you want to do
but what you want to do is be picking
the subject and you're going to kind of
want to be thinking how you're going to
put that together and you can do some
research on it
go online and do some research on this
subject and just basically start setting
up your slides
ok so here we are on once you pull up
PowerPoint it's going to come to a new
slides page
pay i'm going to just put it more slides
down here and I'm just going to give you
some examples here on how to get started
on your PowerPoint
ok now you can insert photos in in these
power points if you get photos on your
computer you want to bring in if you
have some photos that you've taken you
want to show people etc etc
I have have done powerpoint
presentations on my outside gardening
greenhouse photos of my plants
I've done it on a powerpoint and works
very well I've done power points on how
to explaining a program of all night
ok so now we're going to on a very first
slide you're going to want to have an
introduction
ok and i'm just going to give me an
example here
yeah
ok
it's just an example i want to show you
something you can move these text boxes
and you can
do a lot of different things here so
make sure you check out the toolbar but
you go up here and you can make your
text bigger
you can change the colors you can Center
things you can do whatever you want to
do basically you can do almost anything
with PowerPoint
ok the next thing I want to stay is
make sure if I haven't mentioned it
already
make sure you try to insert some photos
either a personal photo of yourself or
photos that are pertaining to the
subject that you are talking about in
your video and that's very important
your photos should be saved on your
computer somewhere and it's very easy to
pull them off
ok the next thing we're going to talk
about his design you can change the
colorings of your slides which is really
cool and just going to kind of show you
here i'll set it on one you know color
the color blue
very nice looking slide you can also go
over here
they have some different ones i'll just
go through a few here and you can choose
one of these are some of these work out
very well it's kind of just depends on
what you are presenting and what works
with you know what you're talking about
ok
what I want to say here is anything you
put on these slides can be changed
you can also click on each side you can
right-click you can you know you can
delete the slide if you want to copy it
anything you want to do you can
basically do all this but make sure once
you make your changes that you hit save
up here because don't forget to do that
because you can have a lot of work lost
you can make as many slides as you want
by clicking on
slide
the next thing we're going to talk about
his animation and animation is good for
ok once you get your you know all your
slides have everything on each slide the
way you want it
there's going to have to be if you want
to move from slide to slide you're going
to have to set it up
okay to go from slide slide and how many
seconds in between you wanted to make
that transition that is where this comes
into play there is a transition speed
slow medium or fast
go ahead and set that on what you want
and I do not do the mouse click i
automatically and you can put a time
limit on from one slide to next 10
seconds 15 seconds it's going to depend
on how much is on that slide in writing
for one because you want to make sure
the audience can does have time to
either
look at that slide to read that slide ok
you do not want to rush that you want to
make sure there's plenty of time
ok
next thing I want to talk about this
slide show once you get all that set up
all your slides done
you have your animation set up you can
go to slide show and you can come over
here to beginning
and when you click on beginning it is
going to pull it up on your screen
ok i'll just show you here real quick
they're pulls up and it should make a
transition here I don't know if I save
that though i don't believe i did but
once you make your transition it will go
from slide to slide
ok now
once you get your PowerPoint all
completed make sure you save it again
after at the end when you get everything
where you want it
make sure you save now you can turn your
PowerPoint into a video
this can be done using either the free
camstudio recorder screen recorder
software or Camtasia which i'm using
right here this is what I'm using to
record this PowerPoint
this makes this you can turn this into a
really nice video or if you're just
going to use it for a presentation for
either your team members a business
meeting etc etc just save it on your
computer here
ok so i hope that helps you a little bit
on how to put together a powerpoint very
simple to do you will have to go through
it in a little more detail because
there's a lot more that you can do you
can put music into your PowerPoint also
and it's just a very nice way to present
something so this is dying mom
