group survival and i am going to show
you how to make my young plastic hanging
god
ok first off I need to get a bunch of
plastic bottles as many as you're going
to put in the garden
for this example I used five agile
growing areas one for reflection chamber
and one for feeding chamber
ok so first step you want to do is fill
it with water and then stick it in the
freezer when you put it in the freezer
actually go that way up so the bubble
sits on the label
so when you drill the clean area so
stick that in the freezer overnight and
then you'll be left with some guy this
frozen
the reason we do this is for the drill
Ian makes it a lot easier as I
demonstrate right now
so this is a two and a quarter drill
obviously whatever you've got on hand to
be sufficient it doesn't have to be
exactly this size but it's just the one
that I prefer
first off is going to drill hole on the
bottom section
I'm trying to keep my old pretty
systematic Gary years so only carefully
because it will your head
you say it makes a lot easier to cut it
if you try to cut this without freezing
the plastic will just crumpled
everywhere and if you try and cut it
with a nine or so it just makes it a lot
cleaner the other one that we're going
to need to do is you need one bottom
we're going to use a top feed our way
you'll take this bottom part
ok so you're only gonna need to do one
by this is your result that would be
your top feeder bottle which we'll get
to in a moment but for right now i just
wanted to show it coming out of that one
the only other hole that you will need
to cut is on the bottom of the ones
where you look
the ones where we put the hole on the
side here we're going to need to cut a
small hole in the bottom here
now i'm not using any type of I snacks
are obviously be very careful about a
few times and kept my jeans and submit
city really just doing in freehold
unlimited spice
so this demonstration are up in a cup
five bottles side for the plants grown
and top we will join the next bottle
ok so that's that way pretty easy this

and then you're going to want to put the
piece of sponge in each bottle neck
every bottle neck
I just push a piece of sponge in this
reason I do that is it slows the rate of
the water flow and he also acts as a
filter to stop the growing medium going
for the other thing that we need to do
is follow care is drilled a couple of
small holes like such here and hear that
that also is just as nice right
if you stick the skin here like this
when you put them together
twist it up that will also look at that
really nice and tight and stops that
wobble
you've got the silicon on here that
sells it and as you can see we've
already got the basis of their God you
can do as many i only do five actual
growing areas i find that to be a nice
number
but then I've got a conservatory with
nice high windows anyway
you got a short window you might want to
do less
anyway so one that's that part there
the other one where we took the bottom
out is so that we can create the actual
hanging feet away with a little water
again just make four holes around here a
couple of bits of string and reading
there
i tend to use a lighter just melt the
end of the road to make me stronger
a bit of sponge same process as before
the silicon slowly in and put the cap on
and that's the sound of that
now one the only other thing that we
need to do at the bottom is to make the
cap pinching cap and hair i do that i
see two caps for the silicon nice
helping the silicon on their squash him
to give up
let them dry and then journalist and a
whole . they will not follow stainless
not all first and a home and then with
the small drill
I just truly have small holes around
then that just screws on the bottom and
the great thing that you can do that is
you just get a regular regular bottom at
the in there screwing and so when you

just unscrew thanks diet and reusing
just you know there's other ways to do
it but I just find that nice simple easy
method one little tip i will give you is
for the little hole just put one small
little hole there because the air
build-out causes of pressure and if you
put that whole there
it allows it to release it makes it a
lot easier
so basically this is a few other people
see that the right angle there but this
is a little mini 14 together that you're
hanging
water feed area to grow beds and then
just get a final i actually might find a
way to cut one of these plastic bottles
shape and then you turn the light you
can get AC most growing place yet you
know
garden centers whatever philly up to the
black line and on on all of the little
growing compounds and what i would do
for a couple of days just run water for
it cleans the growing medium flushes it
right through and then you're ready and
then when I'm ready to cede just got a
few seats in each one and more like
you've got yourself a really good
hanging up
