so in this tutorial I'm going to do a
quick
running water effect I'm just going to
create my new composition 200 frames
720p
that's fine i'm going to create the null
link to my particular Center the anchor
then create a solid for my particular
player cynical apart and i'm going to
add truck code particular and not a top
hat p video mentor options all stopwatch
clicks position X Y and then link that
to the position and all stopwatch clicks
position Z and link that to the group's
need to make them all 3d think that to
the Z position position position to now
the particles are emitting from the
center of the null
I'm just gonna go to the particular
listen up here maybe and i'm going to go
to a physics grab a set of physics model
to balance and add some gravity
so when we hit play
we've got kind of like a fountain effect
going off that already kind of moves
like water
it's actually pretty good kinda looks
like a fountain what we need to do is we
need to just kind of sculpt it's a
particle going to increase the size
quite a bit and I'm going to add
sighs randomness which makes it kind of
a bit more uneven and some slight
capacity around let's not too much and
go to and I need to create some lights
just going to create actually just a
point light
so I'm just gonna go back to particular
go to shadow shading shading on the
lights now affecting it turn these on
down here and Indians pumped out a huge
difference
pop up a few slightly and yet the lights
definitely affecting that so and
actually want to kind of back light it
to be honest
just look at the top you that's the null
there so I'm just going to control the
duplicate that light and 12 backlights
basically see what it looks like
and in particular
shadow will shading shadow settings
placement always in front having to look
at that that kind of looks like a lobby
kind of water just needs a few more
tweaks maybe
and these lights out a way that more
one about the oxide
there now I'm going to pre kompis
and i'm going to add a solid background
just gonna have a quick generate a ramp
radio ramp center the center it and make
it sort of green in the middle and their
dark green on the outside is just
something to kind of show off the
refractions and of the light out
maybe a very green out there
so we've got this fountain , on top and
they're doing the add operation
I think the lights being behind causing
some problems
I'm just going to go to talk mode just
in the movies lights in front if that
solves a problem
so you have to put the lights behind
sometimes it can get a bit glitchy
it's not actually like a real 3d object
so it's okay
now all we have to do is we just need to
kind of them going to mold this a little
bit so i'm going to actually go on the
comp i'm going to add that simple choker
that just
tones it down kind of like them
he eats away at it slightly less you're
gonna need a quite beat then i'm going
to go to a noise
median and yeah i'm not going to go too
crazy with this actually looks better
without it
then
i'm going to go to layer new adjustment
layer
I should my trial in here first click on
the column and row of stylized CC gloss
not just going to add some like the
lighting effects some kind of babbles
and bumps and I think probably looks
better in an adjustment layer and
she dissed my app that this is the first
, i'm just going to cut and paste it
yeah it's best used earlier on
and because we have to use the lights
basically a light and shading about some
options
serve this softness
sport
some decent values
so it's kind of like now it's kind of
breaking up like water and it's kind of
lost some of its a refraction doesn't
look much like water and not so much
reflection it kind of breaks breaks up
like water but definitely could use some
work
so I'm article seem kind of big
yeah I wouldn't mind turning down that
so it's basically like a balancing act
can I get some nice
just trying to get a nice texture and
this doesn't look very good here and
actually just going to copy this
background see what it looks like
which is added in here then particular
this transfer mode
add
disability
just go here is a creation
yeah did not
it's best to kind of sculpted here and
then
you can see that's kind of trickling
like water
I'm breaking up pretty early but
it's just a shading looks like solid
white
very good so try to think that operation
might want to tone down the street from
these lights lighter way too intense
so here we want to get a largely gray
scale and then I guess
sure those kind of highlights again
yeah
yeah
shot median does more damage than good
to be honest a little . median
yeah don't go too high on the median
about -
so look there is definitely what the
trick is you want to catch those like
little battles
that's kind of looking a lot more liquid
either CC glass is doing that but yeah I
think those settings are pretty
that's the sweet spot there could do
with a bit more transparency kind of in
the middle and like like a frontal
effect basically where we want the
highlights on the outside and we want to
enter kind of water a bit more so as you
can see anything that looks pretty good
and could use a few more particles maybe
they basically said look at what we did
CC glass in the first comp try and get
like keep it quite dark use like some
lights but i'm trying to get the keep it
quite a gray scale and dark and try and
bring out those like nice little bumps
and the particular settings we already
went through then constitute we apply
directly onto the composition of simple
chakra medium
don't go too crazy on the median and
Joker well
don't go too crazy on that value either
it's just add like that over and I'm
kind of makes it stick
kind of gives it a metals kind of effect
and our final effect could be better so
we could actually achieve that just by
probably better better light placement
so as you tomorrow
so there yeah there we go
we want like the water on the come
outside that's pretty crucial
it's all about light placement as you
can see that we've got a cool like
liquid effect going
so that's looking a lot better already
so I'm gonna leave that here and i'll
let you kind of play around with it as
you can see it's kind of looking pretty
liquidy there might just add some more
particles before I go
so what does wow it's kinda like gelatin
look with - 20 year that's going to look
a lot better action by increased gravity
is pulling down the particles - 300
she maybe not maybe I'll to gravity - 50
and then spread is what needs to be
controlled lost
was a spread
this is a just mess around session
allowed to make mistakes
seems too strange
velocity round
they should be a should be a spread
setting
she can't find it right now well as
you're the immature sizes
us here yeah and then we can control the
size so it's not to make a huge
difference
so yeah just rendered out
so you have a play and that's a prettier
it's not it's not bad it could be kind
of a little bit white in the middle
could them
you're like positioning should be kind
of highlighting the rim
now but I mean that's a good start i'll
let you have a play around with that i'm
looking forward to seeing your
underwater effects
what say you and go lend out there and
thanks for watching
