How to Backup and Restore your Windows Drivers by Britec
Learn how to back up your Windows drivers from an existing Windows so that in case if you faced a Windows crash or wanted to format and re-install the Microsoft Windows you can use them to restore all your hardware drivers again.

hi guys hey again my name's Brian got
another video here for you on how to
backup your windows drivers and this is
going to be really handy if your windows
operating systems come become unstable
and you need to wipe the operating
system because obviously is unrepairable
so that point where you need to wipe it
or maybe if so affected and you can't
clean the system because it's so riddled
with viruses and you just want a white
and put everything back or maybe just
want to format a machine and put it back
so this is a good way of backing up your
windows drivers and saving you a lot of
time to hunt interest drivers and and
whatnot
okay especially if you've got an old
machine what this is gonna do is some of
the old drivers now pretty outcome boy
you may have lost two discs some time
ago and you can't find the drivers for
it so there is some three where drivers
a software that you can actually use to
actually back up your drivers it would
look at the first one first is called
double driver now all you need to do is
download it from my description i will
put the links up there and in scan and
remember this is a virtual machine so
you will just see microsoft stuff and
all that but if you did on your machine
will be a lot different
click select and in all and then back up
and we're going to choose the location
now we're going to choose a location
inside and network driver the network
partition there and look just make a new
i'm going to call this DD double drive
click OK and then we're going to backup
all drivers click ok and there you go
that started back up those drivers and
once we've back to map this is finish
sewing clothes and then if we wanted to
restore these at some point we all we
need to do is format the Machine and if
you have a look in the location where
we've just been DD this is the folder is
created with all our drivers in there so
as you can see it's got all their
drivers that we need
ok so that's ideal
so what we need to do now is back those
drug restore those drivers so we
formatted machine got a nice fresh
install and we actually click on restore
this point
find the location of their folder like
so and we're going to actually go to DD
click OK and that will show us the
drives and then click on restore click
OK continue anyway you may get that if
it's a driver that Windows doesn't
recognize just click OK and continue and
there you have it that's the actual
process done so it saves you a lot of
trouble okay hunting around for drivers
so that's the first program called
double-double driver another one you've
got is chilly device driver back up
another cool program basically all you
need to do is back up the drivers same
thing sticking there at the drivers up
make a location we're going to do the
same location as before in there and
will actually make a new folder and call
it any drivers say CD maybe up to others
they're see drivers click OK and they
have it it's packing all those drivers
up and the same thing again you just
click on the restore button and go
through the same process we need to do
is wait till they finish back in all the
drivers up then click OK and then if you
want you for made you would come in with
this machine is back on your machine you
can back all these drivers up to an
external harddrive never back up all
your drivers to the dr that your four
main always back them up to set up in
drugs also not that he just access them
again there's so much easier
you need to put the tix in the ones that
you want and then restore a simple as
that down here
ok the next one we're going to be
looking at these wind drivers another
program and basically once a backup to
win drivers and we're gonna identify all
drivers like so
ok select all
okay back up the drivers into that
folder and then back up drivers you can
see them coming in there it doesn't
quite show you here it just doesn't
integrate out area then here just a
driver backup complete it's not very
clear there but I still works click done
and the same thing again uwc restore
those in the same way
ok so that's that when drivers and one
more for ya
fabs all our backup this is slightly
different it's got a few more bits and
pieces on it is easy because the
location just go to that same area again
so we just go to the same area going to
call this fabs like so click OK and it
back up to next
like so many go knicks again and you can
actually back up your favorites for
internet explorer outlook express
identities and personal data files just
got a few PST files you can see it's got
a few more bits and pieces and then Eve
male windows live mail windows address
book thunderbird stuff like that and
just keep going documents Ponce ok and
you can actually add files as well which
is pretty cool and it could click on
launch and this will actually back up
all those files for you
ok so once they're backed up you're all
ready to go format your machine but your
windows operating system back on
partition the drive and put all your
driver's back on its going to save you a
lot of time
ok so i hope this tutorial has been some

ok one more thing before I go there's
another place you can look as well which
is actually driver packs dotnet another
great place to get your drivers this
honey does windows XP the moment they
will be doing vista and windows seven
but these are all the chipset drivers
cpu graphics I graphics graphics 80,000
thousands of drivers on a would suggest
you do is download all these packs will
take some time
they're loaded onto a DVD disc DVD disc
and always especially if your technique
in it's nice to have a big bundle of
drivers Anya because if you ever come to
someone's property and they've got a
driver mission or and no device you
right click on that update driver choose
to locate the driver from the CD which
should have all these drivers on it and
basically it will hopefully they'll be
that driver in there and that will be
you'll be up and running in no time
