tech reached out to me again they had a
couple other products they want me to
take a look at
if you don't remember there's been a
couple things to talk about from an
attack in the last few months here we
had the
Bluetooth speaker that they sent out as
well as this 7 port
usb3 have both of which may get an awful
lot to use around here
but they asked me if I was interested in
taking a look at a Bluetooth keyboard
and I've got a couple of months I've
been kinda going back and forth about it
but this one in particular is targeted
at the Apple Wireless Keyboard look and
feel
now been using a MacBook Pro for my
daily driver for work
for my day job for a couple months now
so
I thought this might be a good way to
pair up with that so yet this is the
the Bluetooth keyboard they make it a
blue 23 and this
is just something else they had on their
site that I was kinda interested in its
a 4-port
usb3 PCI Express card not gonna be able
actually do anything with this today I
don't have
place to put it in a computer at the
moment the other computers upstairs
we'll get to that down the road but this
will go in open up and take a look at
here's the park's thought I'd show you
what's in it maybe hook it up to a
device
an area that's the Bluetooth keyboard
there's not a whole lot in the package
it can make an awful lot of noise and
wrapping it unfortunately

looks like it takes a couple a triple
A's and then you powered on connected
with this
it definitely is nice to have that
connect button but this does
look an awful lot like a Mac keyboard
has the command key right here
the buttons are they don't have a lot of
travel to them because they're they're

very least it does have that
a Apple Wireless Keyboard sort of a look
to it
but yeah so I'll go in Section batteries
in this central paired up to a tablet
will see what it does
and actually forget too far ahead of

is a PCI Express USB Creek Rd they make
a couple model this one
the larger versions actually something I
was kinda more interested in
this one has four ports on it and you
just plug it in my crib in the PCI
Express slot
the larger one had seven ports on it
and then you plug it in your actually
have power inside have your computer for
it as well as using PCI Express
so this was that the one that they they
opted to send me
so be trying that out when my desktops
and let you guys know
what becomes of it more likely than not
it'll be used to operate a desktop does
not currently support USB 3 so that we
can I say but now on to bring this up to
a tablet
and the more I thought about it the more
it actually kinda makes sense to go
ahead and pear this up
with a Mac so I thought I could break
out just my my work laptop
and we'll see how it does when I
actually paired up to it when power this
thing on
have gone and put a couple batteries in
their to hear it does have the little
flashing blue light
or at least a place for a second there
so let's see if I had the connect button
here in the back
after holding the button for a couple
seconds it looks like it did show up
over here

so i pair it is typed this on the
keyboard so

and we are connected so at this point
how to be able to
yeah spotlight search I can start typing
and
typing definitely is the problem of
course holding at this angle is a bit of
a problem but if I wanted to I can
I can just start typing it works okay so
gonna opened an incognito browser tabs
you don't need to see what's in my
browser
CNN dot com their go yep
pulls up works he up and down arrows
appear to be working appropriately
has all the little keys you would expect
to have on a Mac keyboard
the command key works like a command key
should mansion space for example visa
spotlight search the brightness keys do
work for the
laptop right now so that can I
s you get the volume control the do work
is going controls
so yeah just the first impressions ovett
it definitely doesn't feel like an Apple
keyboard have got an Apple wired
keyboard on my main desktop
and it's not the the aluminum look and
feel this is
is very much plastic but still it does
get the job done
should be quite usable as far as just
being a key a Bluetooth keyboard is
concerned
and I will make sure to have links down

and just for a quick look over on Amazon
it looks like to about seventeen dollars
right now so
not really all that bad and it says you
get seven or eight hours of continuous
use battery life an automatic sleep mode
when you're using these two AAA
batteries so happy your battery life for
two AAA batteries I guess is not all
that bad
I just really prefer being able to plug
it in so I don't have to worry about
keeping AAA batteries on me whenever I
take it somewhere with me
