alright let's go ahead and run through
one more purchase order here and i'm
going to do that on the handheld this

receive this using my mobile barcode
scanner and bring this thing up right
here this is the mobile barcode scanner
or i should say a simulation of one it
is a recognized dustrial unit design
takes balls to concrete has a pistol
grip with electronics we want to scan
something very similar to the scanners
you may have seen it say walmart target
if you've been in there they've been
doing it for work in the aisles I don't
have a holster there they pull out and
scan stuff got a nice little keypad on
it there this one's a little bigger than
life size monitor up and there is a
little bit more information about these
available on our website which is

website we want to click on is the
barcode hardware but in the main menu
bar you'll see a submenu there that says
a certified hardware click on metal shop
prices for available for rental for
purchase
there's also a thermal transfer printer
that's out there for a purchase access .

that today what I'm going to show you
today is the workflow on this particular
unit here and so the screens on this
with the exact same screens on the
actual wireless unit that you have out
there in your warehouse in my case I
can't do any scanning I don't have a
scanner hooked up here it's just showing
on my screen so what I'll do is when I
said ask a location i'll type in a
location that alright so the first thing
we want to do here is this case with
this proceeding i've already logged into
this and so we're going to click on the
receiving but here either using our
stylist you know clicking on that or
because most of our house
folks don't like to use balustrading
like that we have the main menu
actually all of our screens here have
numbered options on the side and you
just use the keypad down here to enter
the number that you want this case
number one for receiving asked me what i
want to receive two we've already talked
about the with or without bill also
option offer an option here for the
doctor to stock the difference is
basically to doc is a two-step process
means i'm going to receive everything to
a documentation and i'm going to put it
away next to stop means i'm gonna do it
all in one step on the receiver and put
away in one step
most people mean we think that this
stock will be faster that's one step and
it is for one item but if you have lots
of items
expand its coming in things like that
it's usually faster to receive them to
document have someone else put them away
at the same time or a boy as a secondary
operations there in this case i just got
my one item its orders let's go ahead
just receive it to stock and we'll do it
with will get this time all right to ask
me for my p.o number here and so if this
has been bar-coded for me on the
paperwork on a label on the product that
we practice and that would be really
nice
same with the bill that was provided to
me a bar code format on that label or on
the paperwork I could scan that as well
if not i typed in on the little keypad
down here now it's asking for the item
in this case my item barcodes already on
there my manufacturer puts that on for
me my item barcode is going to be 301
hear something scan that if it comes up
and finds my coffee table books and it
did for my demo purposes i make my
barcode the same as the first number in
my item names i can remember what my
barcode is my demo is probably one pop
up like that but that is why it did that
50 date is prefilled for me and I'm not
going to change patterns believe that
might attract item that's coming up
receiving you'll see i'm scrolling off
the side a little bit here this has to
do with my simulator has nothing to do
with the actual unit itself it doesn't
do that just when I displayed as a
splitter it does that for some reason
there's no proof that you can see what
I'm doing here and ask me helping i want
to receive that was gonna have my units
better if i want to change them but i'm
going to say I just want to receive the
one case that i ordered here that's what
showed up and off I go I need to print
labels i could be so this
time for that particular item i just
received if not I'm gonna hit continue
and now it says great and we are
receiving the stock remember it's asking
out for the location
what is the location by receiving this
to go out with my stocking locations
like a 10 minutes can be a one location
so this is where I put it
and this wonderful is there any other
items on the skill you need to receive I
say no that's it nothing else here i am
finished at this point in time
