Computer Turns Off - Quick Fix

One of my laptops was turning off (computers normally shut down when they overheat) so I am making a video showing how to replace a laptop fan. This process is fairly easy and hopefully will save someone money (about $100-$140) by doing it. I had to replace this fan about 1 1/2- 2 yrs ago, I am not sure if the computer fan is just cheap.

********Remember-------Only use the compressed air when the computer is off ***********

By using the compressed air it might solve the problem ( computer turning off ).
If the computer is still turning off, it might be the fan.Since I knew my issue was the fan, I just ordered and replaced.

I'm turning on the computer and the fan
starts and then it just stops after that
a minute or two go by then the computer
will actually turn off so it doesn't
overheat
now you can solve this by using
compressed air to clean the exhaust
areas and by doing so it will remove any
like dirt or dust that may be in there
it is something you can get
they so this pretty much everywhere now
what you want to do on the upper right
hand corner in the lower left hand
corner of the fan you want to remove
those screws and with me this has
happened before so i actually have to
read
place the fan I don't know why but it
just I just do
so one thing you want to make note of
its course
the two screws and also where you
connect the where it connects the fan
connects to the motherboard you want to
make note of that as well because on the
far right
it's red on the far left is yellow and
what i normally use these tweezers
but I couldn't find him so i'm just
going to use my hands to pull out the
cord for the connection but you want to
make note of where the red is so he's
going to pull it out and then
is going to rock the fan back and forth
and it's cool
out in a fairly easy now you can see
here that there's a lot of dust clogging
up the exhaust
so what I'm going to do is I'm going to
use that compressed air to blow it out
now what you want to do is you want to
do short spurts very short spurts and
you don't want to hold it horizontally
if you hold it horizontally the liquid
will come out you don't want that
of course you can just read the
directions as well and then
you want to do is you want to secure it
I do one side at a time
you can use your fingers or the tweezers
then you just put it in the same way you
took it out just kind of rock it back
and forth and you want to make sure the
the holes align with the screw
so you might need to make an adjustment
or two and then you screwed in the two
screws you close up the cover and that's
it should take you
difficulty it's like a one if that high
and it should take about 10 minutes give
or take
and the most of the time is really
removing all the screws
