AKVIS Retoucher: Removing Objects In A Photo

AKVIS Retoucher was used to remove a date stamp and another unwanted object.

AKVIS Retoucher is an efficient program for photo restoration and photo retouching.

Retoucher not only removes dust, scratches, stains and other defects that appear on damaged photos but is also able to reconstruct missing parts of a photo using the information of the surrounding areas.

The work is done automatically; you only have to indicate areas to be restored, push the button, and here you are - the surface becomes smooth and imperfections disappear. It looks like magic when you observe the scratches vanishing before your very eyes.

activist retoucher is an efficient
program for photo restoration and photo
retouching you can download it from at
viscom let's use activist retoucher to
remove the date stamp from this photo as
well as the white object here at the
bottom first we should switch to Express
mode and make sure that fast processing
is activated when fast processing is
activated processing speed is increased
by simplifying the original image we can
used a selection brush to paint over
these two areas I'll set the size of the
brush to 10 now I can just paint over
the date these selected areas will be
highlighted in red
I could have also used a magic wand
which selects pixels of the same color
next I'll select the white object it's
important that there are no gaps in a
selected area you can select larger
objects easily with a selection bucket
it will fill an area that has been
outlined about a selection brush the
selected areas will be processed using
information from surrounding areas the
objects have been selected so I'll press
this button to begin processing and now
the date stamp and white object are gone
