hello in this video I'm going to show
you another great product from IObit
called start menu 8 start menu 8 is a
especially designed for Windows 8 it's a
great alternative for Windows 8 users
who are used to using the Windows start
menu or for those who don't like the
ugly Metro start screen start menu 8
provides users with both the start
button and start menu and it bypasses
the Windows 8 Metro start page
completely start menu 8 allows for
quicker access to programs and files and
I'm going to begin by opening the web
browser
and in the search box I'm going to type
IIT start menu
8 and I'm going to click on the IIT
link and I'm going to go to
downloads and I'm going to scroll down
all the way down to the bottom to start
menu 8 and I'm going to click on
it I'm going to click the free download
button I'm going to scroll down to the
bottom of the page and click the green
download
button and I'm going click
run if you're in Firefox save the file
first when it's finished now downloading
double click on it and then click
run when the setup wizard opens I'm
going to click
next I'm going accept the license and
terms and click
next next one more
time I'm going to leave the Box check
for Run start menu 8 and I'm going to
click finish and here's the icon for
start menu 8 I'm going to remove the
icon from the
desktop and now I'm going to restart the
operating system
the computer's restarted I'm going to
log
in and that's the whole purpose to start
menu a completely bypassed the Metro
page took you right to the
desktop and again this just another
great produ from I bit I want to thank I
bit for contacting me and informing me
of their new product it's still in beta
form but to be honest with you I like it
I think the Metro page is really ugly
and I would rather have a normal desktop
rather than have to go through all
that thanks for watching guys have a
great day
