Get Windows Start Menu Back in Windows 8 with Start Menu 8

Get Windows Start Menu back in Windows 8 but just install the Start Menu 8 application from iObit this is a free software and after installing it you can get back the classic windows start button and functionality under Windows 8 and I do a review for this Start Menu 8.

hi there this is Ranjit and in this
video I'm going to show you how to get
back the start menu in Windows 8 yes
this is Windows 8 and let me show you
the same as you can see this is the
Metro interface and Windows 8 is great
in performance but uh the lack of the
start menu is kind of annoying and I
know the Windows 8.1 update will kind of
get back but again you won't get
something like this that you're used to
for example if you're used to Windows XP
or Windows 7 you're used to this and
this gives a lot of functionality as you
can see you can access all the programs
that are available
right here and from here only you can
access the computers the control panel
and all the settings uh and uh the name
of this application is start menu 8 and
you can download it from IObit I'll have
the links in the show notes and first
you need to download it the download is
just about 5 and a half mix and I'll
uninstall this and I'll go through the
installation procedure now and now as
you can see I've uninstalled that start
menu 8 and we get back to Windows 8
regular like this I've downloaded the
installer here and we double click on
that and says that it's going to install
start menu
8 and we just follow the steps except
the terms and conditions I'll install it
default to the C
drive and just uncheck this you don't
need this the second option and just hit
finish and here you can now select the
start button I'll keep it to Classic
this is the windows one and as you can
see it came right away here but again
you can change it to any other from all
these if you want and I'll just uh say
uh click okay and as you can see now we
have installed the start menu 8 and by
default it gives us a lot of
functionality but anytime you can just
go to the settings here and change the
journal settings by default as you can
see it runs on the startup and it can
also skip the Metro screen and directly
uh come to the desktop and right now if
you press the Windows key uh the start
menu will pop up uh like this let me
let's uh show you the same
now like like this but if you want the
default what you say the modern UI uh to
come you can uh check that option here
in settings I don't want uh the Metro or
the modern UI to come so I have uh left
it unchecked and you also have further
options here again as you can see you
also have the options of skinning it for
example right now it's in the Windows 8
style but if you want Windows 7 style
also you have that and you can even
change the fonts if you want so this is
uh start menu 8 and it makes uh your
Windows Experience a lot familiar if you
are used to older Windows versions like
Windows 7 or earlier versions and I have
been using this and it offers it works
fine I would say and it's a pretty fast
and uh if you want to go back to the
Metro you can always click here and go
