How to activate and startup Copernic Desktop Search

kaepernick desktop search tutorial
today we're going to see the initial
configuration
for the software to make sure everything
you need is
indexed in kaepernick desktop search and
how you can activate your
license if you purchased one so
the first time you're gonna start the
program you're gonna have this
start screen right here that's just
welcoming you
you can have more information about the
how
two steps so if you're listening to this

i guess you're not interested in reading
and more interested in seeing
so you just click on next next and just
click on done so at this point
your kapernick desktop search is not
registered with the
license so if you're in the trial
or if you purchased a license for the
use
right now your cryptonic desktop search
in is in
its free version so you have to
enter your license how you do that you
just click on extensions
import license file and you just select
in your download folders the license
keys dot lic that you downloaded
previously from your email
if you downloaded a license keys.txt
from the purchased email you will have
to rename
the file to license keys.lic
so sometimes internet browsers are
letting you download the file
but since it's not a known
file name they will just rename the file
as
dot txt so if it's the case
like here if you're in your email and
you downloaded
the license keys right here you can see
that
google chrome is downloading it
with txt extension so
you will have just to open your download
folder
and just rename that file
you remove the txt and just put the lic
so i already have it here so i'm not
gonna
use this one for a moment
so back in kaepernick desktop search you
just select your license key
click on open all the extensions will be
enabled
so all from the package that you
purchased or if you're on the trial mode
you can see here that you have all the
extensions
and they're all enabled except for the
photoshop and autodesk
and vizio but in the license file that i
have downloaded i don't have these
extensions for the moment so make sure
everything is
selected and enabled and just click
on back to main view this step
is configuring your enabled extensions
it can take a few minutes to set up
and after you're gonna be ready to go to
index your computer
