hey this is Chris and in today's video
I'm going to show you how to recover
deleted photos that are as old as five
years old or even more using stellar
photo recovery and I'm going to put the
link for this tool directly under this
video in the description box where you

the better recovery tools that I found
online I've used a lot of them and I
also have one of their other tools which
is the stellar data recovery and I'll
put the link for that one under this
video too just in case you're wanting to
recover more than just multimedia files
such as photos audio and video because
their data recovery will basically
recover almost any kind of file on your
computer it is a little more expensive
so if you're looking just to recover
multimedia files then this is going to
be the better choice for you so here's
how it works once you visit the link
under this video to download it you're
going to be presented with this screen
here after you install it now you can
choose to recover everything which will
choose anything with photos audios or
videos or you can just choose if you
just want to recover photos or just
audios or just videos so for this
example I'm going to go ahead and just
select everything and then I want to
pick next now what it's going to tell me
here is to choose a selection where I
want to recover my files from so here
it's telling me I can recover files from
my original C Drive on my computer or a
different partition which I have is my
drive D this is my flash drive which is
what I'm going to be recovering files
from or other connected hard drive so if
you have other devices connected to your
computer you can recover files from
those as well for this example we're
just going to use the flash drive that I
have and if it doesn't find the files
the first time around I can always come
back and do a deep scan which is going
to search even further into the hard
drive to find those files for right now
we're just going to go ahead and do this
and click scan
okay so we can see the scannings in
progress now it's already done it's only
taken a few seconds and that's because I
didn't have a whole lot on this drive
let me maximize the screen here and pull
this out now you can see here that on
these files these were all deleted on
this Drive
so this Drive currently has nothing on
it and what it's done is it's went in
this Drive and found all these files
that's been deleted even far back as
2014 so over five years old and of
course if I had so you can even see some
here six years old from 2013 and so what
I can do is if I have this turn on
preview on I can actually click on here
and see previews of what these files are
and then to recover the files all we
have to do is just check the ones that
we want to recover and then come down
here and click on recover and then
choose a place on our desktop or another
Drive where we want to save them so what
I'm going to do is go ahead and have
these four selected I want to come down
here and click on recover and then I'm
going to choose where I want to save it
at and click select folder next we just
choose start saving and then it's going
to ask us if we want to rename these cuz
there's a couple files with the same
name I'm just gonna click rename all now
once that's done we can come back here
and go into our folder that we just
saved him one you can see it's created a
folder here called root and if we open
that up we're gonna see the images that
we recovered from five years ago so
that's how easy it is to recover deleted
photos now with that said not every
photo that you have deleted on your
drive may be recoverable for example on
this flash drive that I currently
scanned and found all these all these
files on if I was to put a bunch of
files onto this hard drive those files
could possibly overwrite the deleted
files that were on there making them
nearly impossible to recover so my
suggestion is is when you try to recover
photos try to recover them as soon as
possible after you delete them
so you have a much better chance of
recovering them since I really haven't
used this flash drive much at all since
two years ago and even then I didn't put
many files on here that's why I can
still recover these files that are from
2014 even 2013 so but this is a great
product to use if that's what you're
trying to do just recovering your photos
