Robo task is an automation tool that
allows you to automate just about
anything on PC the options range from a
simple hotkeys opening webpages moving
files sending email and more to complex
combinations with a statements and other
advanced options the interface is easy
to use and includes several sample tasks
that can help you get started we will
add a new task now to give you an idea
how it works a task is defined by
actions and triggers you can give the
task name so that you can easily refer
to it later then you can start to add
the actions that you want to perform you
can use single action or combined
multiple steps into a complex task Robo
task offers dozens of predefined actions
that you can select combine and
customize as needed you can run programs
print documents send messages across
network and more numerous file and
folder operations allow you to automate
file management for example
automatically move files create folders
delete junk files and so on a complete
set of ftp actions allows you to
automate file uploads and downloads most
advanced options allow you to create or
set your own variables as well as
if-else statements loops and more you
can also start and stop services from
within your tasks check if the
particular window is open lock your
computer and more let's create a simple
task that will send an email message
every morning at 8:00 a.m. every action
offers a dialog that allows you to
simply fill in the required information
