After hearing much buzz about Wise Data Recovery,
we decided to put this software to the test.
In this video, we will share our findings
on its features, advantages, and drawbacks.
Before you get started, the likelihood of
success is contingent upon three factors.
First of all, No data recovery program can
assist you if the difficulty lies with the
hardware of your storage device.
When it comes to data loss, time is of the
essence.
The sooner you act, the higher the chances
of recovering your lost files.
Before you use any data recovery software,
The key to successful data recovery is to
act fast and minimise the amount of new data
being written to your storage device.
The developers of Wise Data Recovery offer
both a free and Pro version of the software
to cater to the diverse data recovery needs
of their users.
The free version provides basic data recovery
capabilities, allowing for the recovery of
up to 2GB of lost or deleted data.
In contrast, the Pro version comes with advanced
features and options, providing users with
the ability to recover an unlimited amount
of data without any restrictions.
Furthermore, the Pro version boasts faster
scanning speed, support for more file formats,
and increased chances of successful recovery,
making it an ideal choice for professionals
or users dealing with large-scale data loss.
It would be fair to say that 80% of data loss
cases occur in Desktop and Documents folders.
You can save a lot of time by scanning these
folders or any other specific folder.
In Wise Data Recovery free and pro versions,
There is no option to scan a particular folder.
You have to scan a whole partition for data
recovery.
Scanning a single or multiple partitions takes
a while depending on the size, speed, and
health.
There is no option to save scan sessions in
the pro and free versions.
Assume there is a 500GB partition and scanning
takes 3 hours.
Once the scan is complete, you can search
for the data you need in the scan results.
But You cannot resume the scan results, if
you go back or shut down your PC.
The next time, you will need to spend 3 hours
scanning 500GB again.
If you want to recover images, you can save
time by using the preview option.
You can preview the photo before recovering
it.
Previewing photos in 4K or other high resolutions
is not possible with this preview option.
Photo previews are available for 10MB files.
After thoroughly testing Wise Data Recovery,
we have found it to be a powerful and easy-to-use
data recovery program.
A little investment of time on scanning can
yield better results.
It performed quite well during our test, successfully
recovering various types of files.
However, it's important to note that results
may vary, and the software may not work as
well for everyone.
That's why we suggest trying out the free
version first before investing in the Pro
version.
This will give you an idea of its capabilities
and ensure that it meets your specific data
recovery needs.
We would be glad to hear from you if we missed
anything important in the comments section.
We will do our best to help you.
Comments, feedback, and suggestions are welcome.
