DVD rip anime one untouched vcd sample
one 480p YouTube video sample and then a
1080p untouched Blu-ray sample as well
so let me start with a very low quality
clip from my favorite anime that is
Legend of Prince Rama you can see this
is not very watchable for today's
standards once you load it you can see
there are options to choose the GPU and
the type as this is not reality we will
choose anime scale level can go from 2x
to 4X let's start with 2x that will make
the video around 720p here in video
Codec it will show all the formats that
are supported by your Hardware encoder
for me it is h264 audio you can pass
through untouched like Atmos or DTS or
anything so this two is a gem of a
feature and below that there is frame
rate option you can load as many Clips
you want and then click run here it will
clearly show you which GPU is being used
for me it is Intel Graphics so that is
lit green if you have AMD or Nvidia that
will indicate dur during rendering it
will automatically open the output
folder once complete let's compare it
now as you can see on the left the
original clip looks very blocky but the
right side upscaled clip is clean the
outlines are redrawn by Ai and are
smooth it looks like HD and is very very
watchable now let's try the second clip
that is YouTube sample from one of my
favorite English songs Billy Jean by
Michael Jackson YouTube videos are
compressed to death and have very little
info for even AI to do anything let's
see if it can enhance it we will try 3x
this time let's run it and this is the
result you can see that even though
there is not much info the upscaled
version looks cleaner it has well
defined edges on the shirt and the
buttons and even the blown out
highlights have been fixed now let's try
a 288p vcd sample from my first birthday
yeah that's me as this is low resolution
we will try 4X and max out the
capability of this software let's run it
and here we go you can see that just
like the Michael Jackson sample here too
it has has cleaned the image better
edges and no blockiness but where this
software shines the most is 1080p to 4K
conversion for this I will use an
untouched Blu-ray sample from the
Bollywood movie War this has one of the
cleanest 1080p I have seen so it should
give best 4K results since 4K is the
highest supported output in this
software we'll only see 2x option for
this 1080p clip let's run this and check
the comparison and oh my God I'm so
blown away by the clarity let me zoom in
2.5x to show you the comparison see how
clear and beautifully has it converted
