redmine up support team in this video
demonstration I'm going to show you how
to install agile plugin on a Windows
with a Vietnam stack
so the very first thing that you have to
do is to just go to your license manager
and then download the very latest pro
version of the plugin however if you use
the light free version of it then you
have to go to our site that is
redminer.com
and then go to the plugins folder and
then agile
afterward click on download and then
download free
here you have to enter your email
address and the plugin will be sent
automatically there
as well as the download link
please don't forget to check the I agree
for the terms and conditions
okay so just to let you know that the
steps for installation are absolutely
the same for light and for the pro
version
okay
so the very first thing that we have to
do is to just start our red mine
so you have to go to the folder where it
is installed in our case it is disk C
and then you have to enter bitnami
folder
and then your redmine in my in my
situation here I got a couple of red
mines however we are going to work now
on the latest one that is redmi 5.
okay so here you have to find the
manager Windows uh file so we have to
double click on it
and then open it
here on the manage servers we see that
the database as well as the web server
so we have to click on start all
and we wait a little bit for all
processes to be started
okay so everything is running fine now
and we go to our browser just to check
and see what's going on
so this is my redmine on my local
computer that is on the Local Host
so I access my redmine
and just wait a little bit to start
all right so
now we log into our redmine
and see that we do not have any plugins
installed
no plugins installed
okay so now we are going to install the
agile plugin
so the very first thing that we have to
do is to just go to your download files
where it is downloaded and extracted
there

okay this is our plugin so we copy this
folder
and go into our redmine
okay here we have to enter apps folder
and then redmine folder and then htdocs
folder
here please search for the plugins
folder
okay when you enter the folder please
paste the plugin there
okay we see that our plugin is now
pasted
so we go back to our core redmine folder
and then start this one it is use
redmine
all right so now we change our directory
to the htdocs folder
so sorry it is redmine and then htdocs
okay so the First Command here that we
do is a bundle install
this command is going to install all the
required gems for your plugin
okay so bundle complete 43 GM file
dependencies 78 and 79 James now
installed
okay so the next command that we have to
do
is our migration command
so it is
bundle exact break
ah
plugins migrate
and
sorry just to double check the guide
um you as well could check it every time
it is on our side that is redminab.com
flation and installation on Windows
so yeah this is it bundle is a quick
redmine plugins
rails and production
so we are doing now our migration
okay so our migration is now finished
and the very last step that we have to
do is to just restart all processes just
to double check and make sure that
everything is running fine
so if you do not restart then the
changes will be not applied
so we wait a little bit
and we are almost done okay so
everything is now running back so we go
back into our redmine and just refresh
to just see and double check if
everything is installed
so we just have to refresh couple of
times because redmine needs some time to
be restarted
so we refresh one more time okay so our
Red Line is now just started
and we see that our redmine agile plugin
is now appearing in the list so we have
successfully done our job we have
installed agile plugin on Windows that
is installed on Windows that has Vietnam
stock redmine
