hi this is paul from a pace and today
I'm going to show you how you can
install extensions into magenta website
first of all you won't find an extension
to do this you're going to magenta to
website they have a section content to
connect this is what they call
extensions
from here you'll be able to search for
an extension using the navigation system
or type in the name of the extension
you're looking for once you've found an
extension that you would like to install
click the Install Now button it ask you
to select your Magento connect version
this will depend on the version of
magenta you're currently running magenta
versions older than 1.5 so 1.5 move so
1.4 and before will use Magento connect
version1 anything after and including
1.5 we use Magento connect to
once you've selected the version take
the box and could get extension key
copy the extension king and go boxing
magenta website in the system menu
you'll find the gentle connect and
Magento connect manager
for security reasons we'll ask you to
relogin
once you are logged in simply paste the
extension key into the box and click
install
then give you a brief summary of what
you are installing providing you're
using the gentle connect version 2 and
click proceed
this information here will tell you that
the package has been installed
successfully so we now click refresh
you'll find that new extension you just
installed is in the list
