AutoCAD 2015_Convert DXF-files into DWG-files

1) Open a DXF-file in AutoCAD
2) Set drawing units to meters (DDUNITS)
3) Check insertion scale is set to meters (OPTIONS)
4) Save the file as a DWG-file
5) Use XREF to attach the different files in a new drawing

hi guys and welcome to this tutorial on
how to open the exit files in outer get
so normally when we work in an outdoor
cat we want you to create a new drawing
and this is the drawing but we will
actually draw for example could be a
real plan and so on and then we want to
link or extra five the different files
that we had downloaded to this new
drawing but in order to use the exercise
function then we need to convert the dxf
files into DVD files
so first we need to open the dxf files
and we can do this if you go to the
application menu and then select open
and we want to open a drawing and make
sure that you have selected TX if and
now for example in this case i have just
created a couple of dxf files so i was
selected traffic file and say open and
now we can see that the file is actually
opened but if i type in assume extent
I'll be able to see the drawing and we
can now see this is the area this is
where we have the university college and
in order for me to use there's an excel
file i want to save it as a DVD file but
before I do this I just want to type in
DD units and then hit enter and now we
want to set the scale to meet us and say
okay and also we want to type in options
hit enter and we just want to make sure
that those the sort units and also the
target unity said two meters so this is
ok so this is closest
and now i want to save the file and we
can now see that the fight will be safe
it's a DWG file so just say say it okay
to this and I i will do the same with
all the dxf files and I'll just close
this traffic file and this is a new
drawing that I open with the video
simply we can see we have to draw a
header and I want to explore the
different cat
drawings that I have now created so we
type in X life and hid inside and i can
write taking this area and then I want
to attach DVT and then just select the
traffic flowing say okay and we can see
that the insert units at 2 meters so
this is ok and if it is soo min and we
can just measure distance for example
the width of the road if a type in di
for distance and we can see the width is
about 6 meters so this seems okay and if
i want to attach the other files that
have created again I'm just right-click
within this area and select a test EVT
and i'm going to attach to technical
data and say okay to this and we can see
if I turn off the technical or the
traffic just unloaded
we can now see that we have the
technical data and I can just reload it
again to see all of the roads and also i
want to attach the last DVD file with
the building's say open and in this case
we can see that i haven't changed the
file with the buildings
so just cancel this and now I just want
to open the the drawing would do with
the buildings in the dxf file i will
open it and again just assume extent and
then i will type in DD units and I just
want to change this to meet us and say
okay and I want to save it and if i go
back to the drawing with my excellent
files then i can attest the DVD file of
the buildings and open and now we can
see that the unit is set to meet us and
then it's okay
and now we have two different files of
the area and all of these files are the
ones that i downloaded from the day nice
website called court for shooting but we
also download a file from the Danish
website called area information and I
can also access this file to this
drawing right here
so again if i go to the external
references and right click it said
Stevie key and now i just need to select
the file we have the protected areas so
just click on open and this one is also
said two meters so we click on OK and
now we can see this green line
this is the area where we have two
protected area but this is the principle
of how you can open the dxf files and
how you can save the message DVD file
and then afterwards you can link them
together in a new drawing
