ok so today we're going to be designing
and printing some business cards in
Microsoft Word now only use word if you
don't have any other options because
it's very limited and printing
so with that in mind let's get started
so go to page layout click margins and
will click custom margins all right now
we're just going to change our margins
here
- 0.5 the bottom will be 0.2 you left a
0.5 also and the right will be 0.5 great
now click ok and you see our margins of
changed so so far so good
well click insert will go to our table
drop-down will insert a tube I five
table
perfect alright so now we're going to
left click right click sorry
and then table properties and then I
want to click center row and specify the
height is 2 inches a perfect so next row
specify height 2 inches and then repeat
this for all five rows
perfect
all right so no want to go over to
column and preferred with is checked
then click 3.5 for the column and both
of them should be 3.5 perfect
it centers and they were good all right
so you can see we have our basic layout
for business cards
now let's get to actually designing
something we're going to work on a
center alignment so we'll just click the
center will choose your font or font
size color all that good stuff and do
business name
all right well and entering put
subtitles on different size and of
course you can do anything you want it's
not limited to this by any means the
functionality and Microsoft Word is
definitely limited with design but this
will do for now for a quick and easy
workout
all right John time
and then just put number may be anything
you want
all right now let's push the top a
little bit so I'm going to try to get
this down more
so enter all right and then we're going
to do with the space
we're going to change the font size -
actually adjust the spacing you might as
well right
perfect alright so now what we're going
to do is we're going to right click and
then we're gonna go to borders and
shading
there we go I now go over to shading and
then choose a color this all change the
background color
let's do a blue or something like that
perfect
all right let's change the font color to
white and i look better
cool so I got a pretty decent but simple
design going on here now that that's
left to do is to copy and paste and I
probably going to screw up like this and
there's no way around it
you're just gonna have to fix it
afterwards
microsoft word it's not meant for
designing but it'll do the job
so we'll just click on air and just just
resent are these your problems will
probably different but the effects
should be quite easy to ski this going
Santana
and center and all right cool
that looks good we have 10 fully design
business cards here and then the only
thing that's left to do is print so go
to our printing options will click print
and then check your options
all that good stuff and then click ok
and you're all done thanks for watching
