Translating web pages in Chrome

Learn how to automatically translate sites written in different languages using Chrome.

Lucy is a huge fan of soccer
or, as some call it, football.
She visits a lot of different sports websites
written in a lot of different languages.
But Lucy doesn't need to understand
all of those languages to keep up with her favorite sport.
Because she browses using Chrome.
Whenever Lucy visits a page written in
another language,
Chrome automatically offers to translate
the page.
If she's looking at a language that she
already knows,
she clicks "Never translate."
But if she wants to read a language she doesn't know,
she clicks "Translate."
And Chrome instantly shows her the page in translation.
For websites that Lucy visits frequently,
she uses the translation options to
always translate some pages
and never translate others.
Translating Chrome helps Lucy follow the
big international soccer tournament
with nothing lost in translation.
