How to root and install custom recovery on Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2

you guys looking back to open-source a
lot today I'm going to show you how to
root your tab pro top 12 way you're
going to do this is going to the codon
which i'm going to put a link in the
description so you can download this
program if you don't already have it and
you're going to be the root file which i
guess i'll put a link in the description
so you can download straight in this
video i'm also going to show you how to
install work as well which is the
recovery you're going to need to install
the wrongs and all sorts of different
stuff so what you want to do first is
grab your tablet and put it into
download mode so hold the volume down
button and the power button the same
time to get into the download screen
download mode screen and then you want
to click volume up it'll prompt you to
say climb up want to go into download
mode
go ahead and do that then you want to
plug your tablet into your into your
computer you want to make sure you have
your samsung drivers installed this two
ways to do that one you try plugging
your tablet and see if windows will
recognize it and install the drivers for
you or you can go online searching
google for the drivers just make sure
you don't install samsung kies because
that will interfere with this process
just the samsung drivers is what you
want
ok so to start this process off what you
want to do after you plug in your tablet
and your download everything like that
underneath the ID com in the little box
underneath that you're going to see it's
going to be yellow or blue depending on
which version of old and you're using on
once you see that color it means tablet
recognized by Odin will see some text in
the message box as well you want to head
over to boot loader and you can click
bootloader and you're gonna find the
file forwarding that I put in the
description wherever you put in your
downloads folder whatever you just want
to head over to that folder and grab it
you'll notice it says SMP 900 on
that's because this was designed for
different tablet but it's the same
followus
tapper 12.2 so don't worry about that
so you click the file and press open and
we'll we'll see it at right here in this
long box next to boot loader and then
you just go ahead and press start on the
tablets going to restart and it's going
to get into android like normal and once
you're in the android operating system
you're going to want to download supersu
and again i'll put a link in the
description of the video on but
otherwise you can head over to the Play
Store and just type in supersu supr su
all in work and download the app and
install it once its installed you want
to open the app as much as plug-in ask
you to grant access to your tablet you
just say yes
don't mess with the time we're all
that's at the top of the window on it's
also probably ask you to disable knocks
I don't recommend doing that some people
have done it in a been alright whenever
I try to disable locks
I just get on constant boot loops so
just like you're basically just reboot
on we randomly so in my opinion just
leave knocks installed on one suppress
use installed you enable the settings
that ask you to go ahead and restart the
tablet or don't ya restart the tablet
leather boot into android once and then
go ahead and hold the volume on down
button again and the powerpoint at the
same time to go back into download mode
on get into download mode hit the volume
up button to enable download mode plug
it back into your computer on open up
old and again if it's still open from
the last time you flash the super sorry
the work file
I'm go ahead and just click reset the
bottom of Odin and again make sure
underneath ID com yellow or blue so it
recognizes your tablet and then under
bootloader or PDA honest the camera
which one you can try to onion on either
one is not going to make a difference
the tablet just go ahead i think
bootloader click bootloader and you're
going to want to find your
for a while and again the torque file
will be made available in the
description so once you've downloaded it
and you can just go to whatever folder
you downloaded to and grab the file on
smells like this you just cook open as
you can see it added right next to the
bootloader page click start and it's
going to flash and again it's going to
reboot your title back into android once
you're booted into android again you're
going to want to hold the volume up and
the power button at the same time way to
the screen turns off keep holding the
two buttons down until you see the
samsung logo once you see the samsung
logo let go of the buns and give it a
second you'll see a torx plop splash
screen come up it's blue and then
eventually is going to go into the
recovery so that's how you root your
device and add a custom coverage and
