hi my name is Bree Clark and today I'm
going to show you how to use Microsoft
Word to set up tabs and dividers you may
be used to just buying tabs and dividers
from your office supply store and
writing in the labels right on them but
did you know that you can also set
microsoft word up to print on some of
these standard labels let me show you
how to do that i have a new blank
document here so I'm going to start by
going to the mailings tab and clicking
labels then on the labels tab of
envelopes and labels i'm going to click
options
here's where i can pick the specific
label I want in this case I look at the
package and i have avery label 74 160
that's what I'm going to print my tabs
on these are actually inserts for tab
sheet protectors but there are a lot of
other options too and you can just
reference the number from the package
from your store so i'll click ok and
then just click new document to launch a
new document with this label layout and
there it is all set up if i look at the
package there should be some
instructions on how to use this template
and I would just start typing the labels
like this one might be first quarter and
then i could write align it format it
maybe make it bold and formatted in any
other way i want before printing my name
