Hi i'm Marie from Advantage Services and in
this video i'm going to show you how to check
that there are no duplicate supplier invoices
in your Safge50 accounts. I'm going to be
doing this using a module available in our
productivity suite, which works by checking
that the ex-ref fields in your Sage50 accounts
are unique. In my Sage50 accounts, you can
see that i've already go a supplier invoice
ready to post, so i'm going to click on Sage,
close the window down and shut down on my
Sage50 accounts.
Then i'm going to open up the AdvantageServices
productivity suite, click on Sage50 accounts
adn scroll down to find the supplier invoice
ex-ref uniqueness checker option, i'm going
to click on that and then i'm going to click
on 'go'.
This will open up the select date range screen,
so for the start date i'm going to scroll
back to 2009 and i'm going to go for the 1st
June and in the end date, again, i'm going
to scroll back to 2009, and i'm going to go
for August 1st. When i've selected the dates,
i'm going to click contine, this will search
all the invoices between the two dates that
i've selected.
It will automatically open up Micosoft Excel
and if we expand the columns, you can see
that there are numerous duplicates between
the date ranges that i've selected. So now
that i've identified all my duplicates, i
can deal with them appropiatly in my Sage50
accounts.
If you sometimes enter invoives more than
once, in you Sage50 accounts by mistake, this
is the perfect way to find the duplicates
and ensure you're not sending any extra payments
to your suppliers.
