6 ways to copy, trace, or transfer any image onto paper

In this tutorial you will learn 6 techniques to copy the outline of an image onto paper. You could also use some of these techniques to transfer an image onto other surfaces. This is step 2 for creating a watercolor Portrait stencil style. These techniques can be used for numberless art projects.

and if your paper is way too thick to
try to trace
you're going to do if you are going to
rub pencil all over the back of this
after that you're gonna tape it to your
paper and then draw over the lines that
you want to keep so I called shapes like
all these dark areas of shapes
now take your image to tape it to your
paper always recommend doing that and
then i'll just do it a small parts you
can kind of see what it would look like

transfer paper so it kind of looks like

grab your image trace place it over the
top of the tracing paper over the
transfer paper

image over my paper and what happens
when you press down and trace over your
shapes
