How to Convert PDF to Word/ Text on iPad (free) Quick Tip

hey guys this is a little quick tutorial
for ipad and what I'm going to be
showing you guys how to take any file
like a PDF for an image that has text on
it that you can't highlight that you
can't copy and paste just like text
that's embedded into their and convert
it into like actual text that you can
copy that you can paste into things like
word that you can actually work with and
modify so what you're gonna need is this
mobile OCR app there's a better look at
it it's a free app so you download it
and then you go get your PDF so i'll go
into ibooks i'm going to go to this
magazine and i'm going to choose this
PDF right here that's not the best
quality it's it's got 33 little sections
of text right here 123 with this little
line right here which is a potential
error part but we're going to do is
we're going to take a picture of it so
i'm going to press the center button the
home button the top button at the same
time and I just took a picture of it
this is just an ipad feature any ipad
can do it's not part of the app to take
a picture of it and then you go to the
OCR app lets go two albums right here
choose that picture that I just took and
press make sure it's on english and
press convert and it does is fairly fast
what it's doing it's taking all that
text from that PDF all that text that i
could not copy and paste and it just
converted into this role of text right
here so just I just showing you i can't
copy and paste any of this no matter how
I try so just converted it right here
and then a pretty good job it actually I
already checked before it actually went
in order from here to here to here and
converted it and it doesn't make very
much errors it makes some but they're
pretty minimal
I mean it's pretty good for a free app
what's really good for free app is what
you do is just you copy it and now you
can actually put it into something like
pages right here
pages open someone to paste it and there
is off
there's all that text from this magazine
page right here now you can change the
font you can copy and paste is easier to
take notes on you can just basically
work with it it's not a PDF anymore
this is the only PDF to word converter
method that I've been able to come
across for ipad once again it's called
mobile OCR is free app
