A tutorial on how to add waypoints to Google Earth and how to export them to your GPS device

hi everyone this is the small tutorial
on how to add waypoints in Google Earth
and how to export them to your gps
device first
just go to Google Earth and you can
either school and go to the point that
you an ad or even you can search it here
through coordinates or an attorney
like you if you put the coordinates in
here and search it will send you to the
coordinates but let's say we want to add
. here and sweat on so you can zoom and
go to the place that you are not let's
say we want to add that on here so you
will click the placemark button
it's gonna add a button here and you can
move a temper anywhere you want
and name it
and even you can change the icon and add
it to anything you want
let's hear it for that one and click OK
so this is the first . you cannot as
many points as you want you can add
another one in here
let's say you are planning to do and the
floating trip and here will be the
starting point and this is the second
one just fine

so this is how to add . you can add as
many as you want as i sat and you can
add the path also by clicking the path
button here it will open a window for
the path information the name and it
contains the line
work and the color so let's say you want
to start from here
your path just click on it then click
the second point in here
then let's say you can click the third .
and even you can you draw the line by
holding the mouse down and move it
and from here the style and color you
continue to the color of the path
let's say you want to read and you can
change the width of the line to make it
more visible
and name your path test that i click ok
so
now this is the way how to do it in
google earth and if you want to export
the points and the path to your gps
device sent eps devices doesn't have the
feature of drawing a path
so even if you export the path to your
gps device
it won't show anywhere but . you will be
able to see the points in your favorite
so the way to do that
just you have to export those two
xmc file so
create a new folder right click add
folder name the folder
whatever you want
and then put the points in here and the
two points on the path that you just
saved put them on the folder by dragging
and dropping them in here
now you have your folder in here just
right to click the folder and like save
place as it will open window asking you
where to see over the file you can see
it anywhere
this will save you
k MZ fire the gps devices doesn't
support the KMZ files so you have to
convert the file to another format which
is a GPX file and you can do that by
going to
the website called gps visualizer . com
just select you KMZ file from here click
on choose file and select the one that
you saved
just now
click open
and to you can select the output format
so what we want is a GPX file and click
up
now your file is ready for download
click here to download
ok
now the file you will have to save it on
your gps device
so go to connect your gps device through
use P cable and browser you'll see what
the device i have is a government
so go to common folder and save that
file and the GPX folder and click Save
that
so
now if you open your gps device and go
to favorite
you will see the point that you saved on
the favorites and that's it
