Hi and welcome to this video review brought to you by ConversionNews.com.

In this video review I will show you some of the features of Xilisoft Video Converter.

The program has 6 big round buttons; Add, Remove, Clear, Convert, Stop and Trim.

On the right side you see 2 tabs; General and  Advanced.

At the buttom we can choose where to export the files to.
Let's click browse and change the direction to desktop.

Ok having that changed all files will now be exported to the desktop.

Let's add a file, click on Add.

We will select the Conversion-News Quicktime movie as test file.

Now as you can see in the General Tab you can select profiles.

there are many different profiles to choose from such as Avi and Quicktime Movie and DivX,

But what makes this program great is it also has profiles of export formats that are less standard such as Playstation 3, Zune, iPhone, XviD and more.

We will export this movie as iPhone movie 480p.

Click on the Convert button and wait for te status to be completed.

There we go, an iPhone movie ready to be watched.

Now let's check out the XviD export format.

We do the same as before only now we select the profile XviD Movie.

Click convert again. as you can see a popup window will
appear saying you have already converted some of the items.
And the question: Do you want to re-convert them?  click yes.

Our movie has succesfully been converted

Let's make one more movie in AVI and click the Advance tab

Here we see a list of extra options.
As you can see the options are divided in 3, General, Video and Audio.




In the General option we can change the duration and the start time.

In the Video option we can change the Codec, Size, Bitrate, Frame Rate and Aspect of the movie. Also it gives you the option the keep the same Quality.

In the Audio option we can change the Audio Codec, Bit Rate, Sample Rate, Channels weither it is mono or stereo.. Or we can choose to Disable Audio.

If we export it now the export format will be adjusted to your settings.

That completes our instruction on the Xilisoft Video Converter.
