Hey everyone, thank you for watching another episode of data recovery flix by HDD Recovery Services. In this episode we will talk about SD problems of physical nature (SD card not recognized type of scenario), so if you are looking for a DIY guide on how to recover your accidentally deleted pictures -- this video may not be exactly what you are looking for. That being said, we target this video for all of those people who had fallen a victim to transparent unreliability of modern day technology.
How many of us own a camera? Probably most, so do we ever think what can happen if one day you try to access that card and nothing happens? What if ALL the contents are locked up and out of reach. Not the best thing to experience that is for sure. Keeping more then 2 copies is essential for protection against losing your data, but what if there was no chance for backup, and you lost something very important. Vocations, birthdays, graduations, weddings, and other milestones all can be gone instantly if the controller on the SD card fails. Any attempt to read the card will result in SD card no recognized, or some other type of error (0mb, wrong size, sd card not detected ect)
SD card like any other NAND flash memory device essentially consists of 2 main components controller chip, which is the brain of the device, and memory chip/chips, which are the storage vaults for your data. Every time controller chip fails, all of the data that was on the memory devices gets trapped in the device. Interface can not communicate with storage medium since controller that is suppose to be in charge of operating the memory has rendered itself useless.
There is no data recovery software tool out there that will be able to extract data from failed sd card that is no longer recognized due to dead controller. That's where we come in: We physically extract memory chip off your SD card Create an image file of that memory chip (sector-by-sector copy of the chips content) Use our specialized data recovery flash equipment for analyzing and recreating the algorithm that was used by original controller chip to render information to the flash memory chips Rebuild your file structure and files
That is the only available recovery process out there that can help with recovering data from these SD cards in such condition. We provide free estimate for every case that comes in. Turn around time for recovery 1-2 business days Average cost of the manual data recovery process is 2-3h @$160CAD/h Your data will be either uploaded to our secure server, or sent back to you on a brand new USB flash drive We have a strict NO DATA -- NO CHARGE policy, so if your data is not recoverable you pay nothing
If you happened to have a failed SD card that is no longer getting recognized by your camera, card reader or even computer -- contact us here for more information:

yeah
hello YouTube but HD recovery sources
here and we're going to do another video
on these SD cards now this transcend
device came in to us for recovery from
our customer and when we plug to send it
shows that instead of 16 gig
it reads zero and no software can see
the contents try to access any sectors
on it it automatically shows that
they're blank
most likely the controller have failed
on this and we have slight suspicion
that this is also a counterfeit product
and but before we open this up it's
going to be hard to say why i say that
this is sounds like encounters with
product is simply because we just had a
recently a very similar case but the
brand was different and externally the
cars look exactly the same flip them
outside down the the backs we
identical
I'm done
that the card was made yourself to
yourself
I'm going off to make cars to be honest
but anyways we got this we were able to
recover in fact everything of this card
by the way and i'll show you how it's
done
so if you look at the internal
components of an SD card unless it's a
monolithic design
which we will talk about in one of the
photos videos
I guess it's a whole different topic but
basically it's a small printed circuit
board that has your connection things as
a controller chip and it has a man /
memory chip which contains all the data
now on all your files are in here but
they are just in the raw cold format
thing
it's not like we can read this
information with some special reading
device and all the faster already going
to be structured know
so this is just a role bank where all of
the sectors that can represent your
files eventually are stored
so what we do is yes we do you have
equipment that reads these chips
universally and gives us a direct image
of the contents also folders now
now we use that
yeah
with addition to
the next piece of equipment which
supposed to replicate the function of
this controller chip this controller
chip is a brain off the device and
that's exactly what renders all of those
sectors into actual structure into a
form file system that you can see when
you plug in that device
so when that fails this becomes useless
so if this fails and this becomes
useless in this kind of setup when it's
all put together you plug it in
we do have to remove this and substitute
this part with our equipment that can
replicate the function of the controller
by adjusting and an algorithm that
functions as such control and by
combining it to the image volume that we
took from this we should be able to
restructure the contents of this card
so that's what we're going to do on this
in this case and you guys have similar
problems with SD cards where you plug
them in and decided they're not doing
come up at all
I do not give any signs of life or come
up with your sizes like 46 max or 26 max
or 20 megabytes or whatever just send us
an email asks us what can be done about
this chances are we should be able to
help out it's not something that can be
sorted out with software so there is
nothing that was really recommended and
from that perspective to you know
download and do this stuff at home but
if there is 250 images have been taking
to the corrupted
SD card need to be recovered we should
be able to assist you with that recovery
rate for something like this is close to
eighty percent so in eighty percent
times all of the data is completely
recovered and in twenty percent will
when we have to deal with things like
encryption and complex algorithms
sometimes the data is just not worth
recovering for the amount of time that
has to go into the case
so if you guys like this video subscribe
to our channel if you have questions
regarding as you recover you can send
them to this email address here if you
need to start your recovery case you can
also visit a visit us at our website and
go to contact us page and submit your
request for recovery in description
right there
you can download a shipping form which
it back together up with your SD card
and send it to an address listed in the
top right corner of platform that status
of our allowed us what you do this thing
and I want to thank you guys for
watching subscribe to our channel for
all falls on facebook
ask questions we'll be back with more
videos next week
yeah
