Hi everyone! Today’s nail art is a soft and delicate,
perfectly adequate for a wedding and is every easy
I've used a Rubywing basic polish
that changes color under the UV lamp or in the sun.
First, I apply a Rubywing base
that I have mattified since the paint will be greatly diluted.
Or else it won't stick on the glossy polish.
I use a very much dilute white paint
because I want it to be translucent.
I don’t want it to be too white to obtain the desired effect.
Then with a big round brush,
I draw some shapes, big spirals, big drops and circles.
And I finally apply the "Finition Totale" top coat
when the nail art design is completed.
Now I'll be using the Tammy Taylor white gel paint
It is an opaque and fluid, perfect to draw.
The info about the detail gel brush I'll be using, is in the description below
I then do the outline of the drawing that I did earlier.
As I've used much diluted paint,
the white gel paint will be therefore whiter than the drawing I've made first.
I will make a drawing with mostly drops,
so you will have to make strokes sometimes thick and sometimes thin.
This is how we ornate the design to make it stylish.
I draw many drops everywhere.
I then dry the design.
I also tried with a white polish but it did not
have a nice finish compared to the gel.
It was not as white as the gel.
So I chose to do it in red
and it was much better and had a nicer finish.
The technique is the same; you do the drawing on the finished top coat.
It would be better to use a soggy varnish
so as to have an embossed effect alike the gel.
Before the polish dries, I sprinkle some pearlescent pigment
or an eye shadow, to obtain a nicer finish.
Note that this design can be done with nail polish.
Instead of using white paint at the beginning,
you can use white nail polish diluted
in some top coat for it to be less opaque.
For the pattern with the gel, I've used some glitter white resin.
Once the first coat of gel is dry
and my first patterns are dry,
I take some more gel and add up
some parts of the pattern in certain areas
and sprinkle them with glitter resin
to obtain the sugar-coated effect to the nail.
We could also have done this
from the start everywhere on the nail,
I tried it but it didn't like it, it was a bit too much
I prefer to do it on some areas like this.
Then I applying some top coat and a rhinestone
I press very firmly on the rhinestone.
This is how my rhinestone hold for so long.
Moreover, I use Swarovski rhinestones or fake ones
that are really flat, they are not similar to plastic ones.
Hence they stay on longer and you don't even
have to covered them with a top coat
The top coat would taken off all the shine of the rhinestone.
