Newspaper Brick Maker Review

A quick review of a relatively cheap way to produce a decent heating resource for virtually free. $30 initially then after that it costs nothing. . .as long as you have a 5 gallon bucket and some water (a gallon jug of bleach is a nice addition to the setup)

here in South Carolina this week real

twenties at night which is ridiculously
cold for here we're just not used to
that type stuff for particular equipped
for it but been thinking a lot about
options all that realized i had one of
these options had talked about there's a
lot of videos about these already so i'm
not gonna do a grand display especially
on a cold night like this but we'll talk
about a little bit
this is newspaper brickmaker got this
from women's I don't know 6-8 months ago
for about 30 bucks actually check
tonight they're actually on special for
about fifteen that's a steal but this is
a cheap effective way to get virtually
free combustible materials I don't say
firewood because it's not quite as good
as firewood but it it's a heat source
basically what you do with this thing
you buy a thing for thirty bucks for 15
if you get in these days so pretty much
last forever
heavy metal construction and pretty much
you use newspapers flyers in the mail
junk mail effectively any kind of paper
you've got to make fireworks firebricks
that he was using a wood-burning stove
no catalytic converters anything like
that here's one of them to get here at
the end that's just from packing paper
i'll show you more of those here in a
minute but it's basically free firewood
after you are eating wood for heating
after you get this contraption here
takes a little bit of effort but I'm
then going to see these on your
eco-friendly channels and all of that
nonsense i'm i'm all about keeping the
environment safe and all and doing well
but I'm not about sacrifice human life
to do it or human comfort
thank you very much but I do this just
because it's an option I got thinking
about having lived in apartments and
rental playing at all that stuff i'm
looking to buy my online here soon but
grew up on a farm and was never a
problem you just went out chop some you
just had cords and cords and cords of
wood stacked up for the winter time and
once I finally got it to be in one adult
years and in suburbia departments and
all that went well
what
it's not really that infinitely
available
what do you do my current laying them
all right now there's some trees in the
backyard but not many of them
sure I can get through a winter chopping
them down but really hate to have to do
so and find wood for somebody else is
quite expensive but so this is this is a
decent option for cheap prepping type
stuff not a primary prepping option at
all
this is something happened reserve takes
a bit of effort to do so what you need
to do with this thing once you get
enough newspapers old letters that type
stuff to jump paper mail you didn't take
this put us put the strips
I don't need full pieces of paper put
it'll suddenly pull strips you know
maybe an inch inch-and-a-half why don't
those two five-gallon bucket fill that
five gallon bucket full of water
what I recommend is throwing a capital
bleach in there that's going to keep any
kind of bacteria from growing and help
you grade the paper a little bit so you
kind of paper mache style consistent sit
wait 3-4 days two things break down and
then you ready to get what you get these
handles take the little former insert
out pacline this thing with the strip's
not just dump oh man I tried that and
the Brixton commands pretty i'll show
you that a minute if you actually take a
little bit time and layer them up now
you're going to get better compressed
brick is going to look better it's gonna
burn better so again this was dirty easy
to tell because i've been using this
thing never bothered to clean it bottom
of it just let water out there you get
your holes and obviously the press here
holes in the sides and the bottom and
all that so once you have your wish you
wet little preview right here built up
you put this on top discussing your high
top with all paper underneath that and
then you just come in with this press
outside don't do this inside or even in
your garage you have a wet mass do
something back yard front yard on some
concrete I think it's best to get better
pressure just press down i tend to step
down on these against make sure you
press the heck out of this thing get as
much water as you can have you done that
lift it up take
freak out it's not gonna be fully dry
your have stored somewhere for a while
up from my findings they say you know
cups couple's three months in my garage
I've got a rack get a bigger odds with
extra storage and extracts and all that
we got a wire rack and stack these
things just a single layer until they
dry out on Louis track just let the
water but little areas drop to the
concrete evaporate
no problem there for my garage and
summertime it took less than him up to
fully dry out and then I just a kid on a
higher level of the Shelton I've got
tons of these things so here's what they
look like without taking your time to
layer these things up
um not terrible but not exactly a brief
you got audience and all that just this
is throwing in paper
here's a little better more advanced
version of mine i guess that i actually
took the time you ever so slightly bit
of time to later this up more properly
looks like a real brick holds together
better not gonna fall apart
you say well how much is this we're
gonna burn not a lot honestly one brick
is going to burn you about 15 minutes
give or take maybe longer the averages
for brakes is one hour with a burn so he
said that's not a lot of burn time
no it's not but it's free other than the
$30 kit here to start the process after
that it's already up here's four bricks

I've got a two-car garage with only one
car lots of storage so these things
don't cost me thing to stack up in-store
if I remove my makeup and burning fire
pit or something like that just for he
just keep warm barbecue some weenies and
marshmallows over but I could throw
these out not feel bags i didn't pay
anything for and I still got my primary
contraction here to make them now
they'll tell you can use cardboard now
I'm not figured that out yet at all
I've tried the cardboard just a
cardboard I can't get these brick I get
something that looks like a brick but
doesn't hold together here is the
disaster that I came together with its
compressed it's drying out but why not
just chunk up cardboard and throw it on
the fire so obviously i'm doing
something wrong that have not done my
homework on that sorry guys I usually do
a lot of homework for post something but
cardboard seem to work well and I just
kind of worried about all the extra
cables and adhesives and cardboard for
burning stove you coming up that type
stuff is using for a fire pit
most of mine recently been made out of
packing paper and all that were a lot of
stuff online so I've got lots of extra
packing paper that had a ball up and
throw outside said no why start up as
bricks newspaper flyers ads that have
stuff all that's going to work just fine
again here in hot south
I think you're in some months they take
about 30 days to dry out that's worth a
they lock the compactness of this lets
it burn for longer than just throwing
chunks of paper on the fire watch them
all the proof so not the best primary
option for preppy but it's a cheap one
again 15 bucks these days for one of
these 15 our firewood at much you got a
home depot
that's one or two nights worth of burn
if that much if you're lucky
so it's something interesting in the
cardboard will give the keynote you're
like that but the newspaper and you're
packing paper and all that seems to work
better not my primary option for
anything but just an extra just extract
just something to play with something to
have something to eat
so if you may not have they also make
one of these that rolls up newspaper
from what I've seen two more of a
long-form those with more expensive
don't have one of those they were better
not sure yet
it went just my fault and cold night
thinking about keeping warm and be proud
