Airfix F22 Quick Build Fail Classic Hot Wheels XV Racers Funko Frozen Batmobile

Lego and Mega Bloks never fail like Airfix Quick Build brick toys! Am the most unlucky consumer in the world? My F22 has a duplicate tail fin part, and the ME109 had a duplicate brick. Both times the correct parts were missing. I now wonder who else has been stung by these toys? At $24.95 a pop it's not a cheap made in China toy!

Good news is a friend who knows I do toy reviews has given me 2 AMAZING Hot Wheels NASCAR X-V Racers playsets. This toy is like a scaled up version of the Micro Chargers raceway, in fact I bet Micro Chargers grabbed the idea from this Hot Wheels toy. The X-V Hot Wheels set is LARGE, FAST & FUN. It's so different to the toys that are served up today. No wonder why the children are playing with the free iPad apps & games Vs the toys. Mattel need to do awesome toys again to stop the profit losses and the new generation of children who don't play with toys like the generation before. I'm very pleased to have this classic toy called Sizzlers that was first around in the early 70's. If you have had this toy I would love to know your experiences with it.

My son liked the look of the classic 1960's Batmobile, sure in box it looks amazing but once out of the box there was some disappointment that this $50 toy has frozen wheels. If it had wheels that could move it would be so awesome, but it seems awesome is becoming a very finite thing. Maybe I need to fix some axles to this Batmobile to make it more fun.

Between the Airfix fail (twice now for me) and the Funko Batmobile with frozen wheels it's makes the Classic Hot Wheels toy seem like something from another planet, back when toys were very good. I will be doing a dedicated toy review of the Hot Wheels X-V racers, I know from that AMAZING toy I can produce an AMAZING video for YouTube. As for Funko car toys and Airfix Quick Build..nup, they don't deserve a look at all.
