In Google Talk try to sign-in without
entering your password.
If it logs you in and you don't have to
write your Gmail password

What about Google Desktop?
To check if it sotres your Gmail password
open Options page
and select Google Account Features section.
Google Desktop has your Gmail password saved
if you can see your Gmail address
in Google Account Features.
Picasa is the easiest to check.
Just open it and look at the top-right corner.
Your password can be extracted if
you see your address in the top-right.
Gmail Notifier can store your Gmail password too!
Right-click on the Notifier icon
in the taskbar tray
and select "Check Mail Now".
If there is no error like
"wrong password" or "no connection"
then your current Gmail password
is saved and will be recovered by the tool.
For Google Photos Screensaver
go to Display Properties, open screensaver Settings
and Configure web Albums.
Should you see your Gmail address in the Account Settings
then your Gmail password is definitely saved
and can be recovered.
Browsers such as Internet Explorer are tricky.
That's because sometimes they log you straight in
and you might be thinking that
your password is saved locally.
This doesn't mean your password is saved.
It happens if Gmail saved a cookie on your computer
to log you in automatically.
Cookie information never contains your Gmail password.
To check if your Gmail password is saved in the browser
go to Gmail login screen,
enter your Gmail username in the Username field,
and click on the "Sign In" button.
If you end up in your Inbox
then your Gmail password is saved in the browser.
As you can see it's pretty straightforward
to check whether your Gmail password is saved
on your computer and can be found.
To download and install Gmail password finder go to:
and find the tool called Password Recovery for Google.
Click on the Download link and click Run twice.
Go through the installation wizard
and tick the checkbox called "Run Password Recovery for Google".
Once you clicked on Finish, you will see the recovery screen.
As a final step to find your Gmail password
click on the "Recover Password" button.
