Change Icon of ANY Program/File! (NO DOWNLOAD-- EASY!)

Batch file, .exe, .txt? No problem! I'll show you how to change the icon.

This method uses shortcuts to the .exe [or any file] to change the icon. Please note that it is extremely hard-if not impossible at times-to directly change the icon of an executable (.exe) file, and also with many others. The easiest way to change the icon on a program is to create a shortcut and change the shortcut's icon. Or, you can create it yourself! :)

hey guys what's up and time to show you
how to change the icon on a whole bunch
of different files so basically you
can't change icon on the batch file sure
you all know that and on HC files also
but what you need to do to be able to
change that is right click on whatever
file and click create shortcut now the
shortcut right click on it click
properties and click change icon you'll
get a default set of icons here I
windows vista and windows seven although
you can type in up on top image rise dl
and press enter and you get a whole
bunch of different files now on all
versions of Windows i'm not sure about
windows 8 that I assume so you can type
in more icons that dll and more is
spelled without an e and you'll get a
whole bunch of icons from basically when
the goonies for first come out graphical
user interface on on my other favorites
is pif MGR at dll and here's a whole
bunch of other icons to you can go to
input dot DL oh and you can find a file
for example let's say I have skype here
so right-click on skype click properties
could change icon and now up on here you
just select all of this and hit ctrl + C
and they've got the wrong right or
control x doesn't matter and then just
go over here and paste it back in with
control team hit enter so now we have
our skype icon and you can do this for
anything i believe i explore that USC or
not but you can go around mess with any
of this stuff so yeah there's how to
change the icon and anything you want
and to our demonstrate this just on an
exe file to prove to you guys i'll show
you this I have firefox by exe here and
this is the actual program this is not a
shortcut you can see here I'm so I
change is right click create shortcut
and say you want to change it to skype
so I'm just gonna change name just guy
and then i'm gonna change the icon to
what we found in the skype thing earlier
on skype and what's totally like skype
but if you click on it it opens firefox
so they go people outside to change an
icon in any file and some cool files
real quick here if you want to stay any
longer i'll show you how to get cool
file or cool icon so right click on your
network connectivity whatever or however
you want to do it just up in the network
and sharing center and I don't want to
show you all my information but overhear
this is going to be obviously brought up
but push customized next to your thing
and you get this thing and network icon
you can cook change
then just copy this dll like we did
before and then we can go back in here
create a shortcut and change our icon
and paste that in there and we get a
whole bunch of different icons I mean
you get all the network stuff so we can
even change the gym airplane if we want
and we have an airplane and I mean you
could just have fun with you can find a
bunch of different icons create a home
so yeah they go as my tutorial please
